Location. The room felt very modern. Like a tiny home. Everything has a place. And the designer made the best possible use of spaces. Quite novel!

We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.

We picked berries while we were there and bought vegetables from the local farmers. We ate at the Swiss Chalet which was reasonable and helped me keep to my diet by adding salad instead of fries for no additional price. We love the Valley because of all the fresh food and the zoo.

Didn't spend enough time there to evaluate. Almost all of my time was with my colleagues (Apple Valley Riders, Motorcycle Club) who organized a major continental motorcycle rally there for the North American branch of the Federation Internationale du Motocyclisme

New Minas is located very close to everything and in the middle of it all. Wolfville, Grand Pre, Gaspereau (Vineyards), Port Williams and Kentville are all very close by. There is also some good shopping in the area and two very large grocery stores. If you're a frugal shopper there are several consignment/thrift stores in the area worth checking out as well as a Value Village!!!
The location was excellent. Room was nice size and very clean. TV was a nice size and on the wall where viewing was really good. Bathroom was moderate and up to date with new toilet and fixtures!!! A/C worked wonderfully and did not make noise to keep you awake. lol Over all it was a nice quiet place even though it was just off the main street through New Minas!!! Definitely returning for sure :)
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was more than I expected at a by-the-highway hotel, and the lady cleaning tables and restocking the food (eggs, bacon, waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal and so much more!) was always smiling and very efficient. I would totally recommend this place, and will return to stay when we come back to the Annapolis Valley.
Just off the highway near Wolfville, Kentville and Berwick and an hour to Halifax. Nice hosts and housekeeping. Small but clean functional room for two visitors and a pet, perfect for our ancestry day trips in the beautiful Annapolis valley. We would stay here again.
It was cozy and warm with a very serene view over the lake. I sat on the deck and watched the sunrise most mornings. Dog friendly, well-appointed and clean. Also - very nice neighbors. WIFI was excellent.
Just a 15 minute drive to Wolfville or New Minas.
I liked that the hotel was practical- clean- and provided everything we needed as travellers needing a rest. the soaps were really great! a microwave ( which I would use next time for sure) a fridge and the greatest shower!
The Slumber Inn was in the location we wanted -- close to Wolfeville -- and so it served its purpose. For what we paid, the room exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful!
Breakfast was included and was exceptional. A lady was constantly refilling and cleaning tables, etc. of all the hotels we have stayed in the breakfast provided was the best.
The breakfast was great. Lots to choose from and good hours. The coffee bar was amazing. It was the best I have seen at any hotels.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The hotel is adequate and very conveniently placed for our needs. Breakfast was adequate but mediocre. The hotel in general and room in particular was clean.
The inn's Location in new minas was perfect for traveling around the county. The room was quiet and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
