Fly into Toronto Pearson International Airport, located in Mississauga. For domestic travellers, drive via Highway 401 or take a train to Union Station, Toronto, then transfer to a local bus. Approximate travel time varies from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
The most convenient airport for Mississauga is Toronto Pearson International Airport, due to its proximity and extensive flight options. It's approximately 15 kilometres away, making transfers quick and easy.
Navigating Mississauga, Canada is straightforward with its efficient public transport system. MiWay, the city's bus service, offers extensive routes across the city. For intercity travel, GO Transit provides bus and train services. Alternatively, cycling is encouraged with dedicated lanes, and car hire is widely available. Down-to-Earth City Bordering Toronto
Mississauga is the site of Toronto Pearson Airport, so many visitors to the Ontario capital pass through without even realising. Once a Toronto suburb on the shores of Lake Ontario, Sauga (as it’s affectionately called) is now a city in its own right, though it’s not immediately obvious where one ends and the other begins.
Both have in common the broad horizon of nothing but water on one side and a skyscraper-dominated skyline on the other. The most iconic structures are the curvy Absolute World towers, said to resemble Marilyn Monroe. Over the road is one of Canada’s largest shopping centres: Square One.
More stores are in Sherway Gardens Mall near Toronto Golf Club, just one of many within Mississauga. There is also a staggering number of parks, including some lining the Credit River which enters the lake by Port Credit historic village, home to lots of cafés, restaurants and bars. Salmon migrate up the river, so fishing is popular.
The fact that this was once agricultural land inspired the design of the civic centre, overlooking the Living Arts Centre and the Art Gallery of Mississauga across Celebration Square.
Booking.com’s Mississauga accommodation options include hotels by the convention centre, apartment complexes with hot tubs, and cheap motel deals near the Hershey Centre.

Like most Canadian cities and towns Mississauga is clean and not overcrowded and noisy. Traffic was quite tolerable and the restaurants we ate in offered terrific, delicious food. My personal favorite was a Korean spot that had great fried chicken , etc.

The facility was clean and presentable, the staff was courteous and friendly as well but unfortunately our room wasn’t well prepared.
We had 6 guests stay 2 of the bed were put together with the last one (pull out bed) had no sheets, blankets pillow etc ready. We understand it’s not ideal to have such amenities laying around but not to have them in the room at all and then travel back to the concierge was inconvenient. Regularly something of this nature isn’t a matter to review about but they didn’t even have all the amenities needed on hand. So we were short blankets and pillows for 2 guests.
Best Western Hotels are usually Top notch service providers but this location did not reach that level.

Was not happy when the kitchen tap leaked down the counter to the floor causing a big puddle and guy try to fix it by banging on it when it clearly needed a whole new faucet. I washed dishes in bathroom sink before going to new room that had a disgusting tub that we had to put a towel in to step in to shower. When I asked to check out late was told I had to pay $60 after already being ripped off for this horrible place. I would not recommend not to mention the bugs.

Property was in a good neighborhood and gives you the feeling of being at home. Offers a kitchen, dining area, living room, two bedrooms, and washroom/ bathroom for a great price. You have all the cooking tools to make your own food if you choose. Great place for anyone with a family. Close to stores and places to eat. Conveniently half hour from Toronto or an hour to Niagara Falls if those are some of the destinations you are looking forward too. Highly recommended!
I usually book Sandman Signature Mississauga Hotel while traveling overseas with the kids through Pearson Airport. The hotel is very close to the airport and has several on-premises and nearby amenities for someone staying with kids for 2 or 3 nights.
The staff are exceptional, and regardless of which one is on duty, we get the same outstanding services. Even when there was a minor issue with the bathtub in our room, they immediately moved us to another room.
Good location for the airport, and regular free shuttle bus to get to/from the airport to go into Toronto. The UP Express to Toronto is $12 each way and takes about 20 minutes.
The hotel breakfast has a good selection, and it also has a restaurant, pub, and convenience store on site.
Room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable.
The hotel is 10 mins away from Toronto Airport, diatance is excellent for unplanned stays due to flights cancellation etc.
The bed and pillows are "perfectly comfortable"
Vishal did quick check-in procedure.
Breakfast are homey, was way good, and the Filipina lady was accommodating. Plus the pancake was yummy! ;)
Great hotel, clean and bright, fresh style. Restaurant / bar is quite good.
Direct access to the LINK shuttle train, bringing you to terminals or the UP train into Toronto.
If you have small children, "Malton Adventure Playground" is just over 5 minutes' drive away on quiet roads, to tire them out before a flight.
The ALT Hotel at Toronto Airport was great it is linked to the airport by train. The rooms are clean and are well appointed with an excellent coffee machine. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant but does have a great bar / bistro which offers excellent pizzas and salads. The staff are all very friendly.
location is 10 mins from airport by the car and hotel provided free airport shuttle service.. to Toronto downtown it’s 25-30 mins drive from Uber ( average €29-30) in normal traffic… there are many restaurants nearby( including McDonald’s across the hotel).it’s value for money even if you take Uber to
downtown
I use this hotel always when ever I go to Toronto/ Missisaga. But this time the cleanliness was very poor … not I used to see before. Checking in took us long time although we were the only family in front of the checking desk. Our booking was several days before our arrival
A very well appointed gym in a large purpose built area. Nice reception area to wait in and just a short (2 minute) walk to the terminal. Restaurant reasonably priced considering it is an on-airport hotel. Access to Toronto was by train which is easy to access.
The hotel is located very close to Dixi Road which is a very famous road in Mississauga. The rooms were clean and all the facilities were provided. The receptionist Payel greeted us very amicably and this left a good & professional impression of the hotel.
we had a 24 layover at the airport so booked a room at the hotel and had a day in Toronto. the room was really good and very close to the airport. as you can imagine the quality of the hotel is very good
Good location, clean room, great stuff who proactively provided help and suggestion.
I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay in the future if I visited Toronto again.
Very clean, like a 5 star hotel. Very calm and quiet, I managed to sleep well. Large and comfortable bed, deep bathroom, if you are a big person, you can easily fit in it.
