We loved that the buildings blended in with the natural beauty. Nature enveloped us, with the realization of being on a remote (for us) island, without any attempt to modernize the appearance of lovely old wooden structures, which, when one stepped inside, the dining room or the accommodation, there was a true sense of comfort and hospitality.
Speaking of the dining room ~ ~ ~ the food was delectable!!!
A beautiful old hotel situated on the water in a cute Harbour. The place is extremely well maintained. There is a wonderful display of flowers and a beautiful garden. The rooms are on the small size but that is to be expected in an historic building. This is more than compensated by the friendly staff and the location. I will make this an annual destination.
This little hotel is nice. it is over 100 years old but they have kept it really nice. Surprisingly quiet rooms, couldn’t hear others around for the most part. The Pub had a nice atmosphere and you can also sit outside. Water views! A short walk to the grocery store and food truck.
