Breakfast was up to us but there was a wonderful coffee house close by with great coffee and food. The location was perfect for side trips to Nelson and Greenwood.

Rating may not be entirely fair because it was raining and dreary most of the time. However, we didn't see anything that would draw us back here. There didn't seem to be any good restaurants in town although the Chinese restaurant downtown was fairly good. Others that showed some promise were apparently closed for a holiday.

Hi you all I don't think that the rooms are worth what he is charging. Because the room that I stayed in smelled, there was burned marks on the carpet the bedding was a joke. I stayed on the second floor to me the stairs need to be replaced or upgraded with proper indoor and outdoor carpet. This is my story. No coffee in the room and not breakfast available.

Our B and B has great ease of access to the Columbia Western Rail Trail. We cycled north to Christina Lake and back on a beautiful sunny fall day. There are choices for coffee venues dinner options and a couple of substantial supermarkets.

Grand Forks is an interesting small city.
Grand Forks is an interesting small city. It is recovering from a disasterous 2018 flood. Some businesses are coming back or being established. Friendly and easy to get around. Only a couple of reasonable restaurants, several grocery stores, not much for bars / entertainment.

It was easy to get to and I have enjoyed my stays at least twice in the past 10 years. Those trips were driving through trips, this one was a drive up and drive back the next day after picking up my new puppy. The one thing I did not remember or it is new due to Covid 19, therefore not an issue when we went through before is the fact that a lot of restaurants are only open Thursday to Sunday. Disappointing for us when the place that would have satisfied both my granddaughter and I was not openh.

Grand Forks is a small town with not a lot of choice.
Grand Forks is a small town with not a lot of choice. We have stayed at this property before and have found it to be the only one suitable. Many of the restaurants are closed because of Covid, and the only one open that was recommended was not much good. The town is so small that it is easy to get around. Stay there if you can - they are obviously suffering and need your help.
Needing a good night’s sleep on our way home to Ontario, we were able to get the last room available and we were absolutely delighted with the Western Traveller Motel. The room was large, very clean, perfectly appointed and the bonus was the jacuzzi tub, which we used twice. I would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely come back. This was one of the best hotels rooms we’ve had in a long time, and best on our 3 week journey, including 4 star hotels we stayed at. Wonderful stay.
Grand Forks Inn was located just off Highway 3 which was very convenient. The room was spacious, the bed was big, it was fresh and clean, and very warm as soon as I stepped inside. The TV was great and they even have a small coffee machine in the room. The breakfast is good.
It is very clean comfortable. I have stayed there before I have recommended to anyone that said they were looking for a place in Grand Forks. Not that I have had that much to do with the staff but a contact I have had was supper.

I have stayed here plenty of times and it’s mainly because of the staff, cleanliness and location. I wouldn’t book anywhere else in Grand Forks. My only suggestion would be quieter a/c units. The one we had was very loud.
Pool area was an excellent place to relax. Location of hotel very convenient. All the staff including the owner were friendly, helpful, genuine and obviously working hard to make people's stays enjoyable.
Very clean spacious room with kitchen. It has access to a creek where you dip your feet to cool off. Grand Forks is a beautiful town with lovely boutiques and cafes. Lots of wild deer in the area.
We always stay here whenever we have sporting events in Grand Forks. Though it isn't a "name" brand anymore, it's the same decent quality; nothing special, nothing not nice.
