Breakfast was plentiful. A choice of hot and cold options. Orange juice and coffee and various choices of Tea. In the lounge I watched Netflix and Prime on the 60-70 inch TV.
Sam, the owner, led me through the gaining access to the accommodation. Met me at the time of arrival and showed me around to ensure I was familiar with everything. He even gave me a room upgrade, which was excellent. It was nice to sit in the lounge area which was a large room with huge windows and watch the sun go down and the moon arrive, very calm and pleasant.

If you want a larger room, more bed space, and prefer to spend your funds on things to do (or eat!) instead of quaint accommodations, you gotta try this hotel. It's close enough into Charlottetown to make travel there easy, but near enough to all the main roads to make exploring the whole island easy from one base location. Staff could not have been more fun and informative AND helpful. Housekeeping staff was terrific, too, we just had to ask and it was done.

Room was ok, would have been better with somewhere comfortable to sit. Fridge in the room was god to have but it was noisy and added heat to the room. Breakfast was good and staff/owners were very nice.

It was a quiet location with parking for our rental car.
It was a quiet location with parking for our rental car. The unit itself was very well kept and clean. The owner readily suggested places for us to see. He also recommended a small grocery store which was close by.

We always enjoy our visits to PEI.
We always enjoy our visits to PEI. It's always relaxing and Cornwall was very convenient as it was close to Charlottetown and all amenities. Would stay there again.there was a great restaurant called Sam's just up the road. What a great place ! Staff very friendly and food was great.Charlottetown close by and easy to navigate by car and also walking.
We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall. The location was very convenient only 15 minute drive from Charlottetown. The hosts were so kind and welcoming! They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. This included providing complimentary freshly baked muffins, allowing us use of the laundry facilities immediately on arrival and providing hand made gifts on our departure. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large, quiet and clean with everything we needed.
Rooms were dirty, the hotel is old. Our TV's were not working, no remote control. We had to go to the reception to ask for the remote controls. The breakfast is poor. The sheets are old too. We cannot control the air conditioning, so it was freezing during the night. The swimming pool are is very old! There was a dirty diaper on the floor the whole 3 days we stay there, that means, no one was cleaning the area! The staff are nice!
Day manager went out of her way to get me a ride to ferry. Pleasant and personable. Greeted every time by staff members, Good morning, to how are you, etc, etc. The breakfast was very good. A lot of variety to please everyone’s appetite. I’ve been in the hotel motel restaurant hospitality business for over forty yrs. and I don’t have any complaints.
Great job Everyone. You have a great team.
Don't let the outside of the place fool you. Although, due to its age it's a little rough looking the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was cleaner than some I've experienced in big hotel chains. The staff was friendly and they provided a simple but welcome inclusive breakfast. The price pulled me in but I would stay again because of the above
It was a very old hotel and the outside was sketchy and a little creepy but the room was very clean despite the old ugly broken furniture. Location was good. Not too far from the university where we moved my son into his dorm and close to downtown Charlottetown.
The most important was that the bathroom and the beds were very clean.
Alyssa and Tony were lovely people. I loved my stay there. Great location, clean room and really nice renovated ensuite bath in the main floor room.
Breakfast was great. Very quiet place. Compared to others out there, this property is excellent value. Hotels were 3 times the price. I would stay there again for sure.
Property was one of six apartment rooms in a private home. Home was located on a quiet suburban street in Cornwall, PEI. Room contained a comfortable queen bed, en suite bathroom, small refrigerator, small desk and adequate storage for clothing. The room was good for transient (overnight, 1-2 night) stays.
We did not have breakfast.
We had a very bad time finding the place. Our GPS directed us to Cornwall but did not show the next turns off #27. After a half an hour of driving around busy Cornwall we got directions from a large hotel on #27 and finally found Sweet Dreams.
The room was nice, comfortable and had what we needed. It was conveniently located for all our site seeing needs! They updated the rooms, when you drive in, it feels like it's going to be an old hotel, but once you walk into your room, you have a nice updated space!
We found out when we got there. There wasn’t ANY breakfast! Not even toast! We got it for the pool, BUT it was used by swimming lessons from morning to night! And it wasn’t just AFEW kids! Other kids (teens) were goofing off behind the hotel…. Under our window!
This is a fantastic little hidden gem in Cornwall. The place is in a very secluded location, still very accessible by car to Cornwall and Charlottetown. But the most important - very clean, very organized and in perfect order. Loved it and will stay again.
The staff were so hospitable and welcoming. The room was perfect and very big with lost of space. Great proximity to Charlottetown and the bridge. Overall a great hotel, and I would stay again.
The staff was very friendly and room was clean and hygienic. The furniture and carpeted floor was little old but in good condition though.
I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future!
Super comfortable bed, A/C system was the quietest I've ever had in a hotel. Great front desk experience too, much appreciated the current promo for the Canada's Food Island Gift card too :)
