Clinton is a very small town with a beautiful surrounding (Kelly Lake). We had planned on staying one night on our way to Vancouver and ended up staying three nights.
The motel is beautiful with a restaurant and very nice pub (both indoor and outdoor). The room we stayed in was only five years old, so we were told) and had everything we needed (refrigerator and a very comfortable bed). Our room also had a small sofa and a coffee table, which was nice to have in a motel room.
I like this hotel very much. We make a point of stoping here in Clinton every year on our way north and again when we return south. It's clean, pleasant and friendly. There are many interesting things to see and do in the area if you enjoy the outdoors, history and natural history. A nice stop in the Clinton/Cariboo area. I like the adjacent bar very much.
The hotel itself is beautiful made of log. Pub area is very nicely done. The staff was friendly enough. Room was fair size. Bed was ok. Overall a good stay but I think it has so much more potential
Location ws as expected. We have stayed here a few times in the past. Again, Cariboo Lodge met expectation. Dinner in the pub was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
