Staying at the Cedar Haven Cabin was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peace and beauty of the surroundings – towering evergreens, crisp fresh air, and the comforting silence broken only by birdsong. The cabin itself was spotless, warm, and thoughtfully designed, blending rustic charm with all the modern comforts you could want.
The hosts clearly put a lot of love into this place: every detail, from the cozy fireplace to the well-stocked kitchen, made us feel right at home. We especially loved the large windows that let in so much natural light and offered breathtaking views of the forest. Evenings on the deck, watching the sun dip behind the trees, were pure magic.
What truly set Cedar Haven apart, though, was the sense of tranquility – it felt like a true retreat from the world, yet still close enough to enjoy nearby trails, lakes, and charming towns. Whether you’re looking for adventure or simply a peaceful escape, this cabin is the perfect choice.

The suite was very clean and modernly decorated. Good kitchen with everything we needed for preparing a couple of meals. The bed was very comfortable. The suite is in an older house located on a very quiet street in Clearwater. We'd stay again if we were booking a place in Clearwater.

Had everything needed for a quick 1 night stopover. The owner greeted us on arrival and was very informative. A little gem of a place. Very dark at night time so I had a great sleep.

An old and original wooden cabin, beautifully renovated. Kitchen fir cooking with all the utensils needed, wooden fire, nice seating area out side with fire place. There are 2 double beds located on the second floor. Vert comfortable beds!
The cabin is located inside Wells gray Provincial Park, in a secluded place in the middle of the forest. Amazing location. We loved it very much and highly recommend fir anyone who visits the park and the area

Absolutely fantastic rustic cabin experience in the middle of the woods. The cabin itself has windows to capture the views all around except maybe the attic, a kitchen with a stove and fridge, a functional clean washroom and plenty of beds. There's a campfire area and benches right outside with dry wood and firestarters available, a stream nearby and woods all around. Nothing short of tranquil nature and quality family time. Host was always available and super pleasant to interact with. Will not only recommend but also be visiting again ourselves.

Too short. It was an overnight stay. Seems like a nice place. But the Ace Western Motel was not at all how it was posted on the site. Older photos on site. Our stay there was not pleasurable. Dirty bathroom and baseboards covered with dust. One of the queen beds if one person moved to get up the mattress flipped the other person out.

Wells Gray Park is spectacularly beautiful with lots of magnificent sites to see. We only saw a tiny bit of it, but could have stayed there a lot longer.
The information centre outside the park is excellent and will guide you on what to see according to your time in the park and what you enjoy doing.

I had an amazing stay at the cottage.
I had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The complimentary boats and kayaks were a great addition, along with the playground and recreational facilities. There were plenty of barbecues available, and the hiking trails were absolutely beautiful. The restaurant offered great quality food, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Did not enjoy the food at the Caboose restaurant although it looked nice from the outside. The service was slow and the breakfast potatoes were horrible. She did offer to cook some fresh potatoes but why not serve fresh in the first place. A refill of coffee costs $3 so 2 cups is $6. Expensive for what you are given.

We enjoyed our stay in Clearwater. We loved going to see the waterfalls. We only got to see the 6 "main" falls. Take your time, as some are a bit of a hike, but nothing too strenuous. We enjoyed the Happy Hiker and the Hop 'n' Hog Restaurants. The Happy Hiker had great service and a very good diner menu. At the Hop 'N' Hog the portions are huge. Bring an appetite. Our meal was delicious. We were sorry to have missed a tour of Clearwater Lake. We arrived after the last tour was gone. We also rand out of time to do any rafting. Something to do another time.

Beautiful location and grounds. Really feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. The lodges are clean and well kept and the whole site has a very relaxed feel about it while also being lovingly maintained. Food and service at the main restaurant was fantastic and it was nice to have free access to the equipment on the lake. Staff were lovely and very helpful: my mother in law left her phone behind and they packed it up and dropped it off at the FedEx site in Clearwater for us, which we appreciated hugely.
It was relatively small and compact, very comfortable and perfect for our needs.
It was very nicely fitted out, light and breezy, modern bathroom and well equipped.
Good outdoor space..
Our host Susanne was very friendly, made us feel at home and was informative about all to do in Clearwater.
