Location is good. Owner was friendly but appeared to be overwhelmed by the amount of work to be done and seemed to be alone. Did get us a microwave when we asked for one. Enjoyed the spa tub but missed having a shower

Best to do your research or talk to locals beforehand because most attractions are hidden and very little is listed online. Nothing is open past 9pm (not even a gas station) so stock your mini fridge while the Market is open if you're staying in a hotel.

Great little town, we went in early April so not much was open for the season yet. The welcome center has a coffee shop that makes delicious breakfast and lunch meals and fantastic lattes. The cycling on the rail trail was amazing, we will probably go back many more times.

We were there on a golf holiday..The Christina Lake course is lovely… open, some challenges but most golfers would enjoy it. We ate at the Clubhouse…really the only place open in the off season…and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food…and super friendly service!

We loved the beach from Christina Lake Provincial Park on Christina Road.
The community has everything you need, market some little shops, gas station, you aren't lacking anything.
If you drive Grand Forks is not too far a little larger place more shopping can be done there too.
We went to Omega Restaurant ( lovely staff, tasty food, yummy fish and chips and many others, beautiful dinner place.
We had our own water toys( so to speak) but you can rent( boats/canoes paddle boards... )
This time of the year we were lucky going that way smoke and fires were some km away from us in Kootney area, not too much.
I liked this spot because it took me back to the days when I travelled via the old-fashioned road trip. It was a mix of modern and retro, right down to the wood panelling on one wall. I haven't stayed in a roadside motel in some time, what with all the new hotels going up everywhere, so I found it to be a pleasurable walk down memory lane. It was clean, pretty quiet for being right on the highway, and the toilet paper was soft. What more can you ask for?
The room had been updated. Large white floor tiles and white painted walls with a nice bedside lamp made it look appealing. All the required amenities were provided…. Tea, coffee, towels, soap. In addition there was a useful little charging station for cellphones etc. And a little table with 2 chairs.
The location was close to the provincial park on Christina lake.
Location is great, close to highway and Christina lake provincial park. Rooms were clean and staff were nice. Short drive to lake and local food and grocery. The Canco gas station across the street is also a liquor store and has many of the usual road trip necessities. Very convenient!
Was exceptionally clear. Recently renovated, nothing fancy but nice and clean and comfortable. Black out curtains, and a smart TV with coffee for the morning. Great value for price and much cleaner than many much higher end hotels that I’ve stayed at.
I really liked the cozy bed and warm blankets. I had brought a spare blanket because i'm sometimes cold in hotels/motels.
I didn't have any interaction with staff so couldn't answer that question above. But door was left open and much appreciated.
The location of the villa was in a nice quiet area from where we enjoyed walking about. The little kitchen had the basics we needed. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. We enjoyed staying someplace other than a typical hotel room.
The staff was always so accommodating, informative and extremely pleasant. We also love the little adorable "guard dog" she was an added treat. Room was very clean!! We stayed in three different hotels and by far this was the cleanest.
Everything, staff very pleasant and attentive, immaculately clean (Just been renovated to a very high standard) a lovely seating area with clean BBQ for guest use. Walking distance of Christina Lake.
Super clean, great price, parked our car right in front of our room. Perfect for our overnight stop before heading over border which is only 5 km from Christina Lake.
They property was very clean and tidy. Check in and check out were easy. Wifi and TV worked great, bed was comfortable. Good location in Christina Lake.
