It was exactly as pictured. Very quiet neighborhood but just around the corner from everything we needed. Well equipped nice beds nothing bad to say at all
Central location and easy to find. Good security, and private with adequate parking at rear. We only stayed overnight, so we ate out. But, the kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook. Close to the Black Tartan restaurant, which was excellent ... recommend the trout!
I am going through a tough time right now and can not really afford to stay at hotels. My room was basic but had a mini fridge and microwave, a queen bed and TV, a desk and a clean shower/bathroom. That’s all I really needed. The location is great, close to Walmart, McDonalds, Harvey’s, Dairy Queen and many more. The owner is working hard to restore the motel and bring it back to life. I would stay again.
The hotel stay was perfect, very well done and clean,no problems at all . Till we went at 7.15 for breakfast 😫. Besides the drinks we could choose there was only a banana and orange and i think an apple. I know Covid rules etc. But come on give then a coupon to take breakfast at Tim Horton ‘s or something like that. Very poor job. To send your guests away with an empty stomach

This is my second stay within a month and would definately recommend it to anyone visiting that area. The building and decor is unique to anyone interested in history. And the beds are incredible enough that I must ask the hotel which brand they are. 😊
Location was great and lots of parking! Hotel was clean and so unique. Our room did not include a breakfast option but we had a coffee machine in room and cream/milk in mini fridge. Nice to have a mini fridge and micro!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was very tasty and had a good selection. The exercise room and pool looked very inviting.
It was a perfect location right in the town of Carleton Place. Very pleasant helpful staff. A wonderful old building with interesting decor. And the bed was soooooo comfortable.
