The room was satisfactory. There was a couch as well as a bed in the room which allowed for a little more space to spread out. Coffee available, which is one thing we appreciate in our stay. Staff helpful in recommending a restaurant.

This is a small owner operated modest motel, and the friendliness of Tina and Vince is one reason to stay. They stress that they are there to help. For a business bought just before the Covid lockdown and two years later, Fiona, they are obviously working to make it desirable accommodation.
Another, as so many mention, is the view. You look right up the the length of St. Anne's Harbour, with cliffs and trees on either side. The motel room windows focus on the view. There's an outdoor seating area as well. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean, and with more amenities than I expected (a toaster, several kinds of glassware, an electric kettle, instant coffee or drip--just ask). The room appeared recently painted.
Knowing that restaurants were a short distance away, we came prepared and had a great supper in our room while watching the sky turn dark.
It is beside a road, and Fiona took out a tree barrier in 2022, but we had no bother from the traffic. For us, Motel St Ann's was the sort of place you rarely find anymore. Small, scenic, basic with a few idiosyncrasies that add to its charm.
