Comfortable hotel on edge of town. Staff very helpful and allowed me to leave baggage and use lounge until my evening departure by train. A short taxi ride to VIA Rail. Within walking distance of town centre. The small local museum was impressive and I had an excellent summer student guide. Pleasant short waterside walks. Several fast food restaurants close by hotel including good pizza one next door.
The Comfort Inn hotel is located near the Supermall, Apollo Cinemas, KC Irving Regional Centre, Youghall Beach Park, Squire Green Golf Course and Bathurst Marina.

The breakfast was great, probably the best complimentary breakfasts I have ever had at any hotel.

Loved the quiet wooded area and flowing river. The wildlife on the property was great too (a moose roamed the backyard). Beautiful cabin and loved the unique layout of the structure. All items I needed within the home were present and easy to find.
Featuring a free airport shuttle to Bathurst Airport, which is 10 minutes’ drive away, this Maritime hotel boasts an on-site bar and restaurant and a seasonal outdoor pool in a courtyard.

The rooms are very clean and quiet. There is a little kitchen with a Keurig and a fridge. So you are able to make yourself a coffee or a sandwich. It's very convenient when you don't have time to go out to eat. We stayed there 3 nights on different dates and we always had a good and comfortable sleep.
It’s very quiet and beautiful beaches! Great walking and biking trails. Seafood! Drive from Youghall beach to Caron Point around the city. Daley Point, Pabineau Falls, bled around the basin. House of Lee, Big D. You need a car to get around. City roads are in very bad shape.

There is very little to do in Bathurst.
There is very little to do in Bathurst. Several of the industries have been closed andteh town is suffering greatly because of this.
However, if you are ready for a great beach - Bathurst has one.
Following the coastline around to Caraquet is wonderful experience

Check out Youghall Beach park (free) - machine groomed beautiful
Good value for money in accommodations etc.
beach - great boardwalks - even some history - raided by the Yanks! - go round the corner to see the hazardous narrow channel into Bathurst bay with the downtown in the distance
Check out - Daly Point nature reserve (free) with lots of lovely hiking trails - forest, field and beach - and an Interpretive Centre
Check Out - Pokeshaw Rock and nice sand Beach (very small fee) a bit further east - quite the crazy gang of cormorants hanging out on a sea stack and fishing near it (and the beach) with lots of eroding cliffs nearby, and picnic tables

This is a calm retreat Center that is well located within Bathurst. The owners are living on site and they are very attentive to our needs. Breakfast options are fresh and tasty. The pool was long enough to swim in it and well maintained. The kitchen within the cabin had everything one would need.
I liked the ground floor room which allowed for direct access to my parked vehicle. I also liked that the A/C was on in the room when I arrived (many hotels leave it off, and so it takes hours to become comfortable on warm/hot days).
-room was clean and smelled fresh
-comfortable beds
-loved the atmosphere of the restaurant & bar area
when you walk into the hotel
-front desk person was very friendly and professional
It's a nice, clean comfortable property in a good central location for Bathurst. The room is spacious and there is a good desk area for working. The bed is very comfortable.
