Property is super cute off a residential street in Caye Caulker, probably like a 8min walk to the main front strip of the island. Very safe location and also quiet. The rooms are lovely, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms has a fridge and they top you up with a jug of drinking water everyday. There is a small coffee/tea station with sugar, kettle, mugs, glasses and spoons. AC and a ceiling fan, two small bed side stands, several power outlets near the bed, you can get an iron from the main office. Good storage with clothes hangers. Lovely bathroom with hand soap and small soap bars and plenty of towels.

It is a very relaxing island. We enjoyed riding around on the bikes provided by our hotel. Feed the tarpoons, look for the sea horses and watch the sting rays come to shore at 4 pm. The wild life is beautiful. You can snorkel, sail. It's just really a lovely island.

Caye Caulker is very welcoming and relaxing.
Caye Caulker is very welcoming and relaxing. The people are friendly and the food is very tasty. I ate the coconut curried shrimp dinner with rice n peas and barbecue chicken at Chef Kareem. Walking distance to the water is one of my favorite part of being in Caye Caulker. Anything you need is steps away and you can walk without the need of a golf cart anywhere. I didn’t get to go to the other side of the split because I didn’t have enough time, but I will definitely visit again.

Caye Caulker is great.
Caye Caulker is great. Everyone we ran into was super friendly. I would not go there just for the beaches. There are only a few that are what one typically thinks of when they think of Caribbean beaches. The snorkeling was 100% worth the trip out there alone. The food we had was great -- ask your lodging, they can steer you to the right places (I would recommend Reina's, Errolyn's, Maggie's Sunset Grill, Ice and Beans). The owner of Ice and Beans remembers your order and name on the second day you stop by and is sooo nice. I would also recommend that you do not miss rooftop yoga at Namaste Cafe!. The Split can feel a little Cancun Spring Break 1990ish. But its easy to avoid. We rented bicycles at our cabanas and that made getting around the island so much easier! Highly recommend- fun and easier than a golf cart because the roads are a little bumpy.

One of the smaller Belizean island, CC has its own charm and its own pace -- go slow but keep moving is the motto. Food is excellent, dive opportunities everywhere, terrific snorkeling. Ah, but the Sand Flies!! Ouch! Make sure you have plenty of reef safe insect repellent and stay off the sand in the early morning and late afternoon when they come to feast on your legs and ankles. And remove your shoes before going back inside so you don't bring the little critters with you. I was pretty okay, but my manpanion looked like he had chicken pox and he was pretty miserable. Take care....but go slow!
Best lobster is to be found at Pelican Sunset on the west side of the island. Make a reservation in person around noon if you want a sunset table. Dinner is served all day, but you might want to avoid happy house as it's crazy crowded. The Art Cafe is great for brekkie and has a lot of vegan options as well as salads.Eat meat pies when you can find them. Use Marie's hot sauce, a locally produced product! Go to The Split and eat crab claws, lobster kabobs, and BBQ corn at Esther's roadside stand. Drink local beer. Also local rum is darned tasty.

Caye Caulker does not have a beachfront, there is a barrier wall around all the areas. The water is beautiful and we went to Iguana Reef Inn to enjoy a little beach. The roads here are not paved, they are sand or clay and there are a lot of potholes. Your shoes and feet will not stay clean. The major mode of transportation is bicycle or golf cart. The island was not what I expected, we started our vacation in Hopkins which we loved. Check out Coconut Row if you want fabulous service, lazing by a glorious pool and enjoying beach front. The food on Caye Caulker was good but repetitive, most places serve the same stuff. We ended up going to San Pedro one day and renting a golf cart out to Secret Beach, that was really nice. The beach is free and there are restaurants and bars that come to your seats to take your orders and serve you drinks and food. We snorkeled with Nauti Time which is right next to the water taxi. It was a great experience and we had a good time.
Yocamatsu is a very cute and cozy compound right in the heard of Caye Caulker. The staff and dogs are friendly and welcoming, and I felt right at home there. Luis makes a great breakfast each morning and the view and breeze while you eat are a perfect way to start the day. The air conditioning and wifi both worked well.
Luis recommended a trip up to Bliss Beach in the upper island and it was well worth the visit. I ended up going twice and spending the day there swimming, drinking cocktails, and reading in the beach chairs and hammocks.
My family and I enjoyed the hell out of this little gem! I was so glad to have found this property via booking.com. The property was extremely well cared for and staff was always cleaning and very helpful when it came to basic amenities. Be prepared cause everyone in Caye Caulker definitely does run on island time. So, if you are used to quick turn around like in a NYC minute, you might want to book somewhere else (not in Belize). It was just what our family needed from the constant running around and everyday hustle known as life.
The property is conveniently located near the front street of Caye Caulker and to all bars, restaurants, ferries and bike rentals. It has a quiet charm to it and the shaded front porch is clutch. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming as are the four dogs that live there.
Our breakfasts were delicious and hearty; and the huge bottle of filtered water on hand was much appreciated. What we loved was how peaceful it was, away from the loud music of the front street but steps away from amenities and shops.
The location is very convenient. It is pretty close to the beach, close to restaurants and other business. It does not include breakfast, but there is a pretty nice coffee shop next to it. We ordered the Belizean breakfast and it was delicious. The beds and the room in general are very comfortable and clean. Also, the people in the reception are very pleasant, we arrived late at the hotel, and they kindly helped us check in despite the hour. The beach towels they gave us were also a good size and very clean.
The hotel was beautifully renovated and we had an amazing view of the water. We enjoyed sitting out on the private deck to watch the sunrise in the morning and the room itself was very comfortable. Our hosts Giambattista and Valentina were so hospitable and kind. They greeted us with a Sicilian appetizer and homemade bread, such a thoughtful touch. You can tell they take great pride in their property and genuinely care about their guest's experience on Caye Caulker.
We loved it here! The property was beautiful, as were the rooms (we stayed in 2). The staff was helpful, friendly. It was nice having the pier and ocean so close, with access to the kayaks and paddle boards. The grounds were very well maintained. The rooms were so thoughtfully designed and decorated and some of the most comfortable beds we've slept in while traveling. Can't say enough good things and will only stay here when we go to caye caulker from now on.
We had an amazing time at the CC Beach Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfy beds, spacious bathroom, shower was the best so far in Central America! The best part of the hotel is the rooftop patio. There is almost 360 degrees view, shaded and sunny areas, benches, hammocks and sunbeds. We spent a lot of time just hanging out in the cool breeze and it was the best. There is also a kitchen with basic facilities, which we used a lot. Can only recommend!
Loved the yellow wooden houses. Situated right on the beach. Loved the chilled relaxed vibe. Close to all restaurants. Cute bar on the beach by the pool. Everyone very friendly. Henry who managed the place was extremely helpful and always ready to reach out for our needs even if it was around Belize. Henry is very knowledgeable for places to stay and transport needed around the country. Ask Henry and he knows all the answers.
Very helpful staff (Stephanie was our point of contact). Daily breakfast was tasty, with a main offering or a few other options. The beds are comfortable and the room provided everything we needed for our short stay. There are plenty of bikes available to get around and there is a private hotel dock to enjoy the sunset on. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying on Caye Caulker!
Nice location, the facilities are basic but then again it is very affordable. Bathrooms are pretty nice, rooms are ok. The common-area are nice to just chill or hang out to meet fellow travelers, but I wish they had more seating. Staff are nice, semi-helpfull. If you are going to Caye Caulker as a solo-traveler i would choose to stay at Bella’s. Sunday funday is great!
We loved our stay here. Could have easily stayed way longer and even extended our stay for another night. The bed was comfortable and the shower had a nice temperature and pressure. We can defenetly recommend Dream Cabanas as a perfect spot to visit Caye Caulker.
Everything from the staff, rooms, food and facilities were excellent. The free bike rentals are a nice touch and make it super easy to get round the island. The recommendations for where to eat and drink were spot on. Great option for Caye Caulker.
Definitely loved the location once again! We were a close 5 to 10 minute walk from the water taxi terminal and also walking distance from much of the main attractions on Caye Caulker. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed.
