I made a reservation for a single, one day before i arrive i asked for the accomodation to be duble bed, they said ok but thry will put a single bed more in the room. Whem i arrived was just one completa bad and they said they didnt have more bad só they put a couchon on the flor 😳🙄😡

Staff where very helpful and friendly. Goods supply of goodies that can be purchased at reception. Only stayed one night, so difficult to really rate. But I would staff again, maybe be not more then 2 or 3 nights.

There was a mix up at the Barrudada check in. I thought I reserved a room type online at Booking.com for 3 people but they said it was for 2. Also in Brazil they are very picky about the exact number of people in a room and no more than 3. The hotel check in process is very long also.

The most interesting part of Santarem
is the boardwalk along the Tapajos river from where you can see the Amazon and the Tapajos waters come together. You can book boat tours to visit the area or just walk around and watch the public transportation boats that go up and down the river.
