Everything about this place was great. The beds are super comfortable and surrounded by traditional ceiling hung mosquito nets in all rooms. The bathrooms are large with a good height shower. Each room has a fridge. The breakfast is wonderful and all homemade by the onsite team. There's a large swimming pool which is good for swimming lengths too with a large relaxing area around it, and the car park is secure with a sliding gate. The hotel is close to local amenities and restaurants too. The hotel hosts are the best I've encountered in Brazil.

One of the better hotels in Santarem. The breakfast was delicious. The room size is good. The beds are okay.

There was a mix up at the Barrudada check in. I thought I reserved a room type online at Booking.com for 3 people but they said it was for 2. Also in Brazil they are very picky about the exact number of people in a room and no more than 3. The hotel check in process is very long also.

The most interesting part of Santarem
is the boardwalk along the Tapajos river from where you can see the Amazon and the Tapajos waters come together. You can book boat tours to visit the area or just walk around and watch the public transportation boats that go up and down the river.
