A very pleasant discovery in Pôrto Velho. Whoever prefers a charming little hotel with a glimpse of nature in the city will love the Pousada Nossas Raízes. It’s a very sympathetic hideaway for people who love the Amazon. Remarkable: there is a little permanent exhibition of indigenous and other local history.
I was lucky to get a rate of RS 150 for two adults one kid in one room. At this rate, this is absolutely the best value for money in town.
The experience here is as smooth as if gets.

a small hotel that is similar to an Ibis - basic but very well done. almost new, exceptionally clean, reasonably priced. limited if any dining on premises (I came in late and left early so I didn’t eat but I didn’t see any place to eat)
Nice motel style hotel on the main commercial street in town. Nice staff, adequate and clean rooms, secure parking area and great breakfast. Within walking distance of the river. Recommended.
