Imbassai is a small town with basic services. I recommend to rent a car o pick taxis after the sunset, and move to Praia Do Forte (only 10 minutes by car) where you can find many good restaurants and shops. But to rest and enjoy the beach, Imbassai is undoubtely better.

Imbassaí is beautiful all year-round.
Imbassaí is beautiful all year-round. The part where the river meets the ocean is beautiful but always full of people. I recommend walking further away by the beach where you can find small restaurants like Santorini or Porto da jangada where Trudy and Zemar take really good care of you. At night, you can have dinner at Jerimum where they serve a great pizza and other wonderful things. Everything is closeby so you can walk everywhere.
🌴As a naturalist / environmentalist /eco-cultiral travel planner / retired park ranger / jungian 'archetypes' counselor & eco-spiritual healer, Lujimba offered the perfect ambiance & hospitality in nature for the tranquil relaxation I was looking for within walking/biking distance to the most beautiful expanse of clean pristine beach that one could imagine! The staff here (esp. Roberto) made me feel welcomed & at home 💞 Much Gratitude🙏🏿
Absolutely wonderful property, a little oasis. The property was absolutely adorable and so clean. We had access to Netflix at night when we wanted to relax but that was after spending hours by the pool as well. Everything was perfect!! Would definitely recommend!! And Cami was remarkable to talk to and get things organised, even gave us great advice on what to do in beautiful Imbassai.

The best thing about Casa Imbale is the care they have with you. The owner was in daily contact with us via whatsapp to give us information about our stay, about the village, the beach, recommendations etc.
Very clean, excellent access to the beach and a good breakfast. Food options could be better, but there is choice close to the vacuity.
Really great staff, I would recommend this place without hesitation, and will definitely return. Book the beach front bungalow if you can, it’s worthy of the little extra.
The hostel is really pretty and well decorated. Super clean and relaxing environment. Roberto is so welcoming and I made good friends with the volunteers. Food for breakfast was made with local ingredients and delicious. +little sweet star monkeys appear in the morning in common areas and are so sweet.
The flat is exactly how you see in the pictures, nicely decorated and with all amenities needed for your stay. The wifi is good and there's air com in all rooms, the outside was well kept and the swimming pool is of good size, my kids enjoyed very much.
The location is great, super close to the city center and the beach. The host is amazing, she helped us with local tips (from restaurants to beaches).
The apartment is super clean and has all the equipment we needed. We loved it! Imbassaí is amazing!!

We’ve always wanted to stay in Imbassai and this was the perfect place for us. Breakfast was always lovely and it was easy to get around. What I really loved was the fact that I was able to enjoy every minute here and reset to a calm mindset.
The proximity to the beach, amazing!! The staff is lovely. The breakfast was super yummy! I truly adored our stay here, and will recommend it. Thank you SO much for helping us with all our requests, you were lovely!
Beautiful house with great energy. We felt right at home, very comfortable and relaxed. The host is super helpful and the cats very cute. This is a great home from where we enjoyed the beautiful beach of Imbassai.

Rustic but very comfortable and right on the beach. The owner was wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast filled you up until dinner. We a fantastic stay and highly recommend this pousada.
