Amazing place and people!!! It’s in the perfect location, located right in the heart of Centro. The vibe here with great rooms and breakfast what makes it so great, also the staff are amazing always willing to help especially Milena, who went out of her way to help me several times giving such a warm and professional aura to the place. Beautiful island with options to do loads.
The natural beaches like Praia da fome and Castelhanos are beautiful. We went for a small break but wish we have been there longer!
We have stayed in Vila Kebaya an amazing hotel super central but with a rainforest vibe very relaxing, comfortable and great staff.
One tip only - use repellent!

Ilhabela is beautiful island with many great places to visit. Nice beaches and trails to the forest and waterfalls.
Beach Praia de Castelhanos. Armacao.
But borrachudos was the down side, they are very annoying. We all have many bites all over the body despite citroilha repelente.

Very nice island, the further you go from the center the nicer. I stayed close to the boat because I had no car, but there are buses that can take you a bit further so I would recommend staying further away from the center.
I didn't find many options to go to secluded beaches, only organized trip by travel agencies and not all were available probably because it was not summer season.

I came for the spectacular nature in this place and was not disappointed. The beaches and the rainforest are out of this world. The towns are lovely and real, and the bus service is a great way to get around: reliable and an adventure in itself.

40+ beaches, 300+ waterfalls, amazing rainforest, watersports, snorkeling/diving...
Eating out can be a bit pricey though (think fancy Sao Paulo restaurant price range). Also come ready to feast the local 'borrachudo' mosquito population. As soon as you get there buy Citronella bug repellant (made by the locals) and apply it generously.

Ilhabela is a Wonderful, relaxing place with many delicious restaurants for any meal, and packed with things to do and sights to see! This was our 2nd trip in a row there, and we just love the whole place!
The breakfast was incredible every day. Everything was fresh, with little surprises every morning. The rooms were clean and overall the hotel had really good facilities. Staff was super friendly and helpful as well.
Every morning there was a visit of the little monkey friends which made breakfast even more fun. Depending on what tours you are doing, they might pick you up from the hotel itself or drop you there, which was also great!
The hostel is in Bonete, lots of nature and green. The place has a very vibrant fauna, flora and energy. There wasn't internet when I stayed there but the problem with the router was solved on my last day. In the end this was a good thing, because it felt like a detox. The staff's very friendly, must-visit! Do bring mosquito repellent though, preferably bathe in it, because otherwise the 'borrachudos' will eat you alive!
Although the hotel is 60 years old, it is very very well mantained. It does not "smell" like an old building. Wonderful and comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in the bathroom, usb outlets in the room, a huge variety of items in the breakfast and a very nice staff. Gabriela, in the front desk, is very helpful and nice.
really lovely hotel and friendly staff. the location is great. half way between the main city centre and the port. the beach is just opposite the hotel and the pool is very clean and beautiful. good breakfast is served for an extra cost unless booked with the room. they have free parking and room service.
Location. Bit far from the historic centre but the hotel facilities make up for it . If you want to have a relaxed vacation this is a place to be ( rooms with sea view are the best ) - the other rooms are small and disappointing . breakfast spread is good! Pool and bar area is very nice !

The property was beautiful! Loved spending time there and most of all hanging out with the hosts. Berta and Berto were so welcoming and lovely to us during our stay. They have been the highlight of our trip to Ilhabela.

Very good hotel. The service was great from Favio and Iasmin. Location is good. There is a nice lounge area, kitchen and even kayaks to use. I liked the mangos falling from the tree.
Everything manaca is a great place to stay, closed to everything you need in Ilhabela, facilities clean and comfortable. Vanessa and Franco were very nice and help a lot !
