We went to Gramado to explore the local natural environment. For this we selected Micheline Hotel Tricot as a base. It is located right in the centre of the city. Our car could be parked in their own parking garage. The location of the hotel is very convenient for visiting restaurants in the city. We had chosen one of the two-bedroom apartments that the hotel owns, in order to have some place to stay quietly in our privacy when we wanted this. The apartment was very nice, clean and well equipped. The employees and the hotel owner were very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was plenteous, with possibility for special requests. We liked the hotel very much!

Charming, lots to see and do, romantic. However restaurants and chocolate stores are not vegan friendly except for La Hacienda hotel. If you are vegan and visit Gramado, book a place with a kitchen to cook your own meals.

Gramado is a small city with so many things to do.
Gramado is a small city with so many things to do. In many ways it has a very "German" touch and it doesn't feel like you're in Brazil at all. It's great for a couple's trip, but there are also so many amusement parks that you can easily stay there with kids and never get bored. The abundant nature is stunning and we could have stayed for much, much longer.

Gramado is a super safe and organised town with attractions for both adults and children. Look out for Combo tickets for the main attractions as they give significant discounts. The Bus Tour is a great way to see Gramado and Canela at the start of your holiday. You can pay for a daily ticket when on the bus and can get on and off as many times as you like. It passes most attractions. Download the Bus Tour App for bus times and routes. The restaurants on the Main Street and covered road are a little on the expensive side, however on the side streets the food is just as good for a lower price. We in particular liked Av. das Hortensias for reasonably priced restaurants.
Firstly the hotel is incredibly beautiful, it is jaw dropping. The room I stayed had a decent size and it was quite comfortable. Breakfast was served daily and it’s variety was outstanding, definitely impressive. Staff were always extra kind, I have only compliments towards them. But to me the highlight of the hotel is their gym, their gym facilities are superb, they can easily match an actual gym, they legit have everything, if you are a gym freak do take this into consideration!
It was an amazing experience for my parents. They were very well received and looked after. The hotel staff were very kind, lovely and helpful. Also, the hotel's facilities are extraordinary and charming. My parents will definitely return more often as we will recommend the hotel to our friends for sure.

The hotel is fantastic. The room is beautiful. The room cleanliness was perfect. They have a restaurant in the hotel with some tasteful menu options. It is located in a very quiet street, near Borges de Medeiros which is one of the most famous streets in the city, with plenty of chocolate stores and restaurants. The staff was always very friendly. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.
The Hotel was very conveniently located within walking distance of ExpoGramada where my conference was held. The breakfast was extensive and the bed was very comfortable. my room was cleaned everyday of my stay. It was also located conveniently to several restaurants within short walking distances from the Hotel.
Everything! The staff were warm and friendly, the apartment perfect, most comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon tea scrumptious. We loved the personal touch of a birthday surprise and even a gift as we were leaving!
