The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and so was the breakfast room. The American bar has some smaller and bigger options for dining. The staff was very friendly and supportive when we had an issue with our first room.

Maybe the dirtiest hotel in ever stayed. The toilet was smelly and unclean with fecal residue.
Bed sheets barely changed with hair and stain.
Employees didn’t handle the situation.

One of the most popular touristic destinations in Brazil, Foz do Iguaçu is located on the Brazilian side of the UNESCO World Heritage listed Iguaçu Falls. Lying on the triple frontier between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, it also offers the Parque das Aves (Birds Park), the Itaipú Dam, and access to cheap shopping in the Paraguayan tax-free city of Ciudad del Este.
The word Iguaçu derives from the native Guaraní language, meaning “big water”. The spectacular falls are part of the natural frontier between Argentina and Brazil, and comprise 275 individual falls spread over 3 km in both countries, with a maximum height of 80 metres. Its water flow can be three times that of the Niagara.
Starting as a small village, Foz grew thanks to the flow of tourists, the construction of the bridges linking to Paraguay and Argentina, and the works on the Itaipú Dam and Hydroelectric Plant. Some of the best hotels in Foz do Iguaçu are located along the road linking to the national park. Nonetheless, most Foz do Iguaçu hotels are located in and around the central area.

Amazing destination with 3 BIG attractions (Parque do Iguaçu/Cataratas, Parque das Aves, Itaipu) and some others that are not worth your time. Stayed 3 days, it was very short. Would have enjoyed 2 more days to spend at the big attractions with more time to enjoy the incredible places. Would avoid going in high seasons, as most of the city and attractions don't have infrastructure to accomodate too many people at once.

We arrived Friday morning for a three night stay with a pickup to the hotel direct from the airport. We booked trips with the tour company based at the hotel to do the Brazilian side Saturday and the Argentinan side on Sunday. The trips took a lot less time than we thought so could have actually done both in one day. The views were spectacular from both sides. This should definitely be on everyone s bucket list. We did prefer the Brazilian side as you got so close to the falls but both falls were brilliant. As there is not much else to do in the town, I would recommend you spend a max on two days and do both sides of the falls in the one day. Argentina side first as you do get very wet on the Brazilian side

Would recommend seeing the falls from both sides.
Would recommend seeing the falls from both sides. Argentina side has more walking and Brazil side has good views. The buffet restaurant in Brazil side was very good. The boat ride was very pricey and not good value for money. You only get 10-15 mins on the water. Be aware of the extra costs to enter both national parks. It was around $50 per person on top of the $70 per person for the full day tour.
If you have time then go to Marco das tres Fronteras Has a landmark where 3 countries meet. The restaurant was amazing. Great selection of steaks and reasonably priced compared to European prices. There was also a cultural dance performance

Stay 2 nights to visit both the Argentinian side and the Brazilian side. If you really cannot do both, go Brazil. The site is simply amazing and worth the airplane ticket. If you can afford it, stay inside the park itself (Bellemont is best option). You can visit the Argentinian side, the the next day do Brazil and head directly to the airport afterwards...
It's a standard hotel, nothing fancy or super modern. Elevators were good and fast, but I opted to use the stairs every time (3rd floor is a good exercise). Nice and clean pool with a bar. My room was good with great natural light, view for the main avenue. Breakfast was well served with regular options, and the breakfast staff was always nice and attentive. The reception in the morning is a bit busy. Kudos to the staff for late afternoon/evening/late night, super nice guy, all welcoming and friendly.
Very fiendly and helpful staff - good sized room - comfortable beds - plenty of hot water - good shower - clean hotel and good housekeeping. Good wifi - walking distance from Iguacu Falls (Brazil side) - close to movie car museum - you can watch monkeys in forest behind hotel - small outdoor pool and patio area. Good breakfast and evening meals also available.
I went for a conference which was on another hotel by the side of Dom Pedro I Palace. For the purpose of sleeping and having breakfast and spending most of the day outside of the hotel it served its purpose. The staff was also super helpful and allowed us to use the pool after checkout, since we had a late flight.
The location of the hotel was perfect to visit the Iguaçu Falls Park and the Bird Park. Also the transportation to and from the airport and to and from the parks was easy to coordinate.
