The staff, especially Ricardo, was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they spoke enough English to be able to chat with me and answer my questions, since I don't speak Portuguese. They provided good recommendations and helped arrange transportation to and from the airport. The location was excellent, and the vibe was very relaxed and perfect for what I was looking for. It is one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited. The beaches are beautiful, clear water. Unfortunately, there is very little infrastructure and roads are mostly dirty roads with no asphalt. It is said to see such an amazing place with so little infrastructure. If you are used to resorts in Cancun or nice hotels around the world Fernando de Noronha does not have that.

Is a nice place but very expensive, the tours of the Ireland are not very good specially the boat one was really a waste of money, they literally charge the tourist for everything and anything, but never in my life I had to pay the rent for a life jacket on aboat trip!
That was Noronha tour I think is really terrible and against any held and safe regulation in the all world not to supply a life jacket on a both after an already high price charge for the trip !
The boat take u to a place to snorkel but there is no much to see is really the worst trip I been on.

But a beautiful island on it's limit. Too much unneccesary traffic because of tourists (take the bus instead of buggys!!). Too many wanna-be-rich-silicone-fitness-dickheads, Noronha ROOTS is over :)

Noronha is a great place to relax and enjoy beaches and diving. The restaurant that I liked the most was Xica DaSilva. It´s not easy to go arround. Buggy rental was 150 dollars a day. The bus is small, crappy and always packed. If you decide to walk you´ll be walking on the road most of the time.
Beaches are among the best I´ve ever seen. Access to the beaches is not good. Diving is great. Warm, clear water full of sea life.

It is an exceptional boutique hotel, not big, not crowded, with an incredible view of the sea, beautifully designed, and organized. If you want some luxury on this gorgeous island - this is it. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we were taken care of very well. We were welcomed by Allana who is a perfect hostess, professional and caring at the same time. Other staff members were also very kind and attentive to our needs. Nothing was a problem for them. We are very grateful for their effort in making our stay perfect.
The location was great. Just a few steps from the beach. The staff was outstanding. Claudia (the manager) reached out to me even before the trip with recommendations. She was waiting for us at the airport. Adriana, that was responsible for the breakfast, could not be better. She cooked with perfection and adjusting to our taste. The interaction with other people was a great thing, It felt like be at home with friends. I highly recommend this place. If I can go back to Fernando de Noronha, I would stay there again,
Everything was superb! Pousada Atalaia is great, super clean and well furnished, in an amazing location to visit the island. Rodrigo, the owner, is one of the best host I’ve ever met! He has been so helpful and happy to provide any assistance we needed during our stay. Moreover, he is one of the very very few people speaking English on the island. We had a great time in Fernando de Noronha and Pousada Atalaia was all we could ask for. Highly recommend!
My stay at Vila Mar on Fernando de Noronha Island exceeded all expectations. The breathtaking ocean views from my room were simply mesmerizing, and the attentive staff made me feel truly pampered throughout my entire stay. The island's pristine beaches and rich marine life made it an unforgettable destination, and Vila Mar provided the perfect sanctuary to unwind and indulge in the beauty of this tropical paradise.
This is a great place to base yourself while in Fernando de Noronha. The whole place felt very homey. The owner and her husband are very welcoming and I felt as if I were part of the family. The property is rustic, so if you want a chic Pousada, there are many other options on the island. But if you want a nice, simple place to stay with a lovely garden, this is your spot.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff made us feel like home. A special thank you goes to Amanda and Carla who were super friendly, always attentive to our needs, and sharing recommendations for everything you might need on the island. The place was super clean and we enjoyed breakfast trying out fresh Brazilian dishes. We were also lucky to receive an upgrade.
Besides the perfect location, The host is very friendly, speaks Spanish what eased very much the communication. The hotel has umbrellas and beach chairs you can borrow for free saving you money. When we arrived, Caio recommended us tours, restaurants and beaches were to go that helped us a lot to enjoy our stay. DEFINITELY VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED.
If I could I would give them 10 starts. The hotel facilities were great and the crew was the very best I ever met. Renee, Lucas, Carol and Guilherme made our engagement visit the best we could ever ask for, helping us with every single thing we needed during our stay, and went straight in to our hearts.

The rooms are beautiful and the staff is fantastic. Yasmin, Gabi, and Júlia take very good care of their guests. They make reservations, they schedule transportation and give you good recommendations. The hotel is in walking distance to several restaurants.
View was exceptional, the personal are extremely friendly and helpful, the location and the Pousada is beautiful, the food (we had a lunch just with entree) was very very good and breakfast as well. We also had a airport - hotel transfer as a courtesy.
I loved the kitchen. It helped me saving a lot of money in Fernando de Noronha, once food is too expensive at the island. Even though the issues we had, I certainly would come back, cause I noticed that they were trying to help us all the time.
5-10 min walk to restaurants and beaches. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has beach towels, mountain bikes, and even a cooler for guests to borrow. We loved the garden and being able to sit on the porch to relax.

this is a lovely little hotel right in the heart of the town. close to the beach, great restaurants and bars, and lively hiking. breakfasts were amazing and yummy and the hosts were so so so kind and treated us like family.
