Caraíva is a magical place with a wonderful history and indigenous village that should be preserved. For the price of accommodation the entrepreneurs must create an association to improve the sanitary and recycling aspects. Restaurants are really expensive. The nature is amazing.

Caraíva is a tiny paradise in Bahia, for who like the nature will love Caraíva. The people here are lovely and the restaurants are amazing, for a good price. And the best thing that I recommend, Caraíva´s forró is the best one in the district of Porto Seguro!

Such a fun and quaint town!
Such a fun and quaint town! We loved how chill everyone was, walking around the sand covered streets in their beachwear. I think everyone should visit this town sometime in their life :) We saw Monkeys too!
Great location, next to the Caraíva River and a few steps to the beach. Also very close to restaurants, bars, gift shops. There's a mini-market right next to the hotel. Breakfast is perfect, delicious - a good variety of foods is available (tapiocas, breads, scrambled eggs, omelets, fresh juices, etc). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very spacious, so is the bathroom.
Do Satu Beachclub was fantastic. Cabin with amazing views, simple but good. All you need with jungle feel. The family behind it, the staff, the beach all fantastic. Very good food, cocktails and service. Music was insane! DJ and live singing. Visit after you have settled a bit and adjusted to the Bahian vibe! Would love to tweak the place a little to barefoot chic luxury.
This place blew my mind! I had very few expectations of the property or of Caraiva, but quickly fell in love with both. The owner and staff of Pousada Lagoa could not have been any nicer or more helpful, and the grounds are stunningly beautiful. Check in was quick and easy, beakfast was phenomenal, and there are two therapist options to receive a massage on site. 10/10
The property was amazing, we had a cafe and the top restaurant next door. I eat all around Caraíva and can give an honest review of the restaurant in the area. Cafe de la mañana was amazing, great chefs/ workers in the kitchen. Priscilla was an amazing property owner treated us very well. She had such a calm demeanor and was always willing to help.
Vila Fruta Pão is just a few steps from the beach and the village is not so big so you can go anywhere in the village walking. The host, Georgia, was super sympathic and helped with all the tips that you will need to enjoy the surroundings such as where to eat or how to get transport to different beaches beside Caraiva.
The place is super beautiful, the rooms are very nice. The breakfast is very good, made with fresh ingredients, and the breakfast area is magic, with all the nature around!
The owners are so nice, they gave us many advices on the area, even after we left!

Everyone was very friendly and wanting to help. The breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and the view and access to the beach is great. The staff helped us with arranging our travels and gave us great advice for activities around Caraiva. We surely will come back!
The place is very clean and close to everything. It’s very chill and far away from the loud of Caraiva. There were a cute entrance straight to a bakery in the other street of the property! I had an amazing time, meet great people and want to go back for sure.
Amazing pousada located at 10 meters from the beach. The host is very friendly and had some good tips for enjoying Caraiva. The homemade breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Highly recommended! Bonus point for the lovely dog Amora.
