Arraial do Cabo is nice for a stay on the beach and for diving. Praia Grande is really big with white sand. The temperature of the water may change rapidly. Praia dos Anjos is small but there is more sea life. The beach by the harbour is not so clean. Arraial do Cabo has many restaurants with tastefull options, also small restaurants where local people come to buy their lunch. This type of small restaurants is a real good option for healthy meals. Diving opportunities are plenty. Also boat trips.

Amazing town with plenty of absolutely stunning beaches and the clearest water I ve ever seen! The options to keep yourself entertained are endless! Boat tours, buggy ride/ horse ride, diving…etc.

I loved it, so came back 2 years later, when I returned to Brazil.
Annoying that so few restaurants are open at lunchtime.
The barracas on the beach can be a bit expensive and apply a minimum charge - which is quite substantial ~Rs$80.

Bus station, shops, chemist, restaurants, and anything else...
Bus station, shops, chemist, restaurants, and anything else you need is close by. To save time take advantage of the boat taxis and buggies. Take a guide with you at least for 2 days as they know the best beaches for snorkelling/scuba diving, photography and awesome sunsets. Praia Grande and Praia dos Anjos are the best places to stay as it’s not too crowded. Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen.. enjoy!!

Coming from Rio, Arraial do Cabo seems great, the beaches are beautiful and the weather's nice, although in the windy season currently. It feels like a friendly, smaller, party/vacation town and we found that the prices reflect that. The only disappointing thing was the lack of a nightlife, everyone seems to be in bed by 24:00. All in all though, I'd visit again for the beaches and the stunning views.

The host is an amazing lady. Helped us a lot in arraial do cabo. Even with bookings other than the apartment such as a boat tour, scuba diving etc. Very friendly and polite. Speaks good English as well, so feel free if you're not a native Brazilian. The property is at the location which is very near to the beach. It is within walking distance from the beach and also not so close to the beach to be an area of nuisance. 10/10 would recommend.
Location is exceptional, you can walk to the best beachs in region.
In 5 minutes walking, you're in Praia dos Anjos, and 10 minutes of trail, you arrive at Praia do Forno.
in 5 minutes you arrive in the center and from there another 15 minutes walk to the right, you arrive at Prainha... or to the left, you arrive at Praia Grande, with the most beautiful sunset you will ever see!
The staff is super nice and helpful, we wanted to change rooms and they helped us without any problem. The breakfast is really tasty and there is a wide range of things to choose from. It is walking distance to Praia dos Anjos and Praia Grande is maybe 15 minutes walking as well. Everything was clean and functioning, amazing!! :)
The best with Mediterrane Hotel was Ana Maria, the girl who works at the reception. She explained me everything about the place Arraial do Cabo, and where and what I should see.
I simply got a friend for life ❤️ So, Mediterrane I have to give you credit for that :)

beautiful hostel. nice common places to work or relax. dorms are not crammed with ample space between beds. super strong AC. right by the beach. very friendly staff. nice kitchen to cook. this is clearly the best hostel in Arraial do Cabo. would definitely stay again
The location is absolutely great! You can go to one of the most popular beaches of Arraial do Cabo walking for less than 5 minutes!
The accommodation is big, the bed was comfortable and the building is in good conditions.
We had no problems getting and returning the keys
The owner aswell as the volunteers are incredible people. They‘re so nice and down to earth and you just really like to hang out there in the evenings. I made a lot of friends there. Arraial Do Cabo is very safe and you don‘t have to worry about anything.
Rooms are very quaint, comfortable. Great view from the hotel. The area is very relaxing with a lot of nature around the hotel and the pool. The hotel restaurant is really fabulous for lunch and dinner. Staff was really nice and helpful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, specially the cakes. I also like the location, away from Praia Grande, right next to the entrance of Praia do Forno and to all the boat rides from Praia dos Anjos.
Kitchen is pleasant, airy, with a big window so almost feels like being at the terrace. Athmosphere in the hostel was nice, friendly. It is 5 min walk from praia grande. It is a calm street. Beds were comfortable.
Sandra the housekeeper is definitely a great person. Explained about the hotel and also about the city. She is great. Awesome charisma. The room was spacious, big enough and comfortable.
