The place offers great value for your money. Excellent location overlooking the reservoir, tasty food and hospitable staff. We'd like to personally mention a young man from the restaurant who really stood out, his approach to guests is absolutely first class.

I loved the kitchen downstairs- since I am an early riser I had a place where to go make coffee and sit down quietly without bothering anyone else.
It has so peaceful atmosphere (both- in the guest house and the surroundings) that is was hard to leave this place. We will definitely come back. :)

Amazing view! Batak Reservoir is really beautiful, even though we were there during the snowy winter! In the summer I'm sure it is full of water sports options. It is so calming and relaxing! Great place, like 2 hours from Sofia and you will feel the clean air and the wonderful mountains.

Tsigov Chark might have once been a beautiful and peaceful lakeside area, however, these days it is loud and dirty. There is trash all around you, there is no place to walk without a car or quad bike nearly hitting you. Unless you plan on coming to this area to fish in the lake, I would avoid it at all cost.
The hotel was beautiful with an amazing view and amenities however we were experiencing a bit of a disagreement with one of the receptionist about the rooms.
We were very pleased with the restaurant staff as they were very kind and helpful and they did made our stay memorable.

The hotel is clean. Spa facilities are okay - but some of the facilities have to be additionally paid - like the salt room, which in most hotels is included in the spa package. Food is nothing special, but it's tasty. Staff is great.
