The room was so elegant and comfortable. Next level of business class suites. Receptionists are so welcoming and helpful. The restaurant Manager I guess if not mistaken, Mr Subash was so friendly, helpful and service was really excellent. I was looking for Masala Tea which was not at the beverage area, He immediately prepared us Masala Tea the next minute I requested. Not forgotten the Guddi terrace restaurant Waiters, a helpful and excellent service as well. Definitely a hotel which I will come back again for my next stay. Quieter than Dhaka, busier than Shylet and less natural...
Quieter than Dhaka, busier than Shylet and less natural beauty than Moulvibazar. Has good foot outlets, overall. Evening street food is good has lots of sea food options. Kaptai lake is good if you are into nature and Bandarbon is good, they also have cave in Aloo Tilaa where you can do a “cave walk”.

Chittagong is a nice city with lots of greenery around which makes it very pleasant. The locals are friendly and curious. Transportation is easy to arrange and the traffic is a lot less than in Dhaka.
There are beautiful day trips around the city, that can be reached in 45 min.

I recently stayed at the Peninsula chittagong Hotel for a weekend getaway and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens were soft and luxurious.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant, which served delicious, locally-sourced food that was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
The hotel's location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of nearby attractions and activities to keep me entertained.
Overall, I can't recommend the Peninsula chittagong Hotel highly enough. The attention to detail, level of service, and quality of amenities truly made my stay unforgettable. I can't wait to come back and visit again!"

Chittagong is a city of life. It's a hill town. It has some fantastic historical locations as well as a beach and many shopping options. Batali hill, war cemetery, cultural center, Patenga beach, marine drive and so many places to visit. It has some fantastic restaurants with options of authentic local, Bangladeshi, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, BBQ, grill, and other options.

If you are bachelor then it's a good hotel to stay, not a ideal hotel for the married couple as all class of people stay there.
