Meals - excellent, the food was lovely, we had the scotch fillet DIY BBQ and the potato bake was to die for - YUM!
Tents - very cosy, comfortable and quite soundproof and the ambience at night is lovely.
Fire pits - excellent to sit around and relax.
Bathroom facilities - just beautiful, quite luxurious and in keeping with the surroundings.
Wildlife - so lovely seeing so much wildlife around the property.
Overall - there are a few minor things that could use improvement, noted as suggestions, but overall this is a lovely place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle and people in general - so quiet and relaxing.

Fabulous quiet location surrounded by nature and off the grid. Eco friendly with great warm winter fire, wild life and views.
The owner was great to deal with friendly and the chalet was welcoming. It provided a much needed respite from the busy daily work life. I highly recommend the ever changing views and experience

- The official line is the water out of the tap is not drinkable unless boiled due to government regulation but when speaking with staff off record, they drink water directly
- Beautiful and new looking place and facilities. Very clean
- Large rooms and great view outside with nice verandah
- Reasonable distance from neighbours so peace and quiet
- Great location and onsite activities but if needs a pharmacy as we did, it's close to a 30 minutes drive away. By the way, we recommend drive longer to St Helen rather St Mary. The road to St Mary is definitely on the much more winding side of Tassie roads

I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks for the truly unforgettable experience we had at Surfside accommodation. I had the option to stay in my friends air b n b however at the last minute booked a room at Surfside Beaumaris Tasmania and I couldn't be more thrilled with my decision.
This is a lovely 60’s style accommodation with recent/modern uplifts on the rooms exceeding all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I knew we had the right place to finish our traveling holiday around Tasmania. I couldn’t believe it was right on the beach and a stones throw to all the best sights to see and things to do in Tasmania.
Waking up to sight the beach out my glass door and the room offering all the comforts.
Surfside is a very welcoming place, offering a great lively atmosphere in the bar and restaurant, warm fireplaces, a game of pool and delicious yummy well priced food.
Thank you for creating such a happy place and making our stay so memorable. We truely have had the best weekend and are already looking forward to visiting again.

There were more facilities at the sort than we realised-a heated pool, billiard table and tennis court. The brewery was closed the sunday night we were there. This is a place to stay for a week, rather than a night. The view over the beach was lovely. The unit was adequate-clean, well resourced, It is just a long way from anywhere, so bring all your supplies. Internet reception was non-existent. We weren't with Telstra so we didn't have any mobile reception.
