The apartment was newly furnished, spacious, spotlessly clean and the room was warm and quiet. The owner was very kind and went out of her way to make everything comfortable for us. The property was in a pleasant, rural location, yet easily accessible with parking right outside. It was just a few minutes walk from a gondola lift and an easy walk to a supermarket. Restaurants and the station were also within walking distance of the property.

Beautiful place - very cozy and quiet … a bit more lively atmosphere in the center will help to add more tourists, but apres ski bars at the lift are very nice and loud though 😊 few good restaurants but mostly in the hotels, picturesque promenade along the river

Excellent place for a short vacation.
Excellent place for a short vacation. Nice little town in the valley surrounded by high mountains. Very close to the ski lifts Rosenalm-Bahn and Karspitzbahn - practically 20 minutes form the town center. However, there are lots of parking spaces available next to the ski-lifts.

There was really good hiking and a cable car accessible that we didn’t have time for.
The Bob run was a LOT of fun.
We went to a very lovely (pricey but very very lovely day spa) Malis Garten. They also do lovely cakes.
We went to an absolutely horrible Italian which I really would avoid if you can - pizzeria Quattro (I think). The food wasn’t fresh (pizza sauce was out of a bottle and my pasta sauce was too - along with the salad dressing. V disappointing.

Overall for a ski resort, this was an excellent area for family skiing, runs were varied and it covered a wide area. We found the ski lechner ski school efficient, friendly and well located on the slopes. We found that most of the restaurants on and of the slopes dealt in cash rather than card so bear that in mind when buying your meals.
There are 4 main areas of skiing in the valley which we managed 3 of them due to having our son in ski school. for a ski resort ques were not long and on one of the smaller ones there was hardly anybody on the slopes to the point that we had the piste all to ourselves which was great for skiers that are not so confident.
Very lovely neighbourhood with nice houses, and a skibus stop very close to the house. The apartment is new, extremely comfortable, with all kids of appliances, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a cozy terrace, a space to put away ski gear (heaters for boots), access to laundry room. Incredibly clean and nicely decorated. The owner is very nice and friendly. This apartment is extremely good value and relatively close to the centre of Zell am Ziller and the nearest ski resort (Arena).
It was a wonderful stay in Zillertal! 5min drive to the Arena, but Skibus is just 100 meters away - you can't beat the location. It's so quiet at night and the bed is super comfy so you are guaranteed to have a good rest before another day of skiing. Heidi and her family made us feel at home; we are super grateful for the hospitality and will for sure come back for more winter and summer holidays!
The owners. The staff. The breakfast. The service. The location. The spa. The room. The water pressure :). Our first trip to the slopes of Austria was a complete success thanks to Aparthotel Gallahaus. Literally everything felt comfortable, from the layout to the amenities. No surprises, strange policies or broken equipment. It was wonderful.
The apartment was way more spacious than the pictures made it look with plenty of room for our party of 10. the location is perfect with a bus stop to the lifts right outside the hotel door. The owner was very helpful with good english. He was more than happy to book taxis for and the food and the beers are fantastically priced!
Excellent apartment with balcony that is modern, clean, tidy and well equipped. Great views from the balcony. The host very kindly picked us and dropped us back to Zell am Ziller train station which is about a 10-12 minute walk from the apartment. There is a supermarket within 3 minutes walking distance
Friendly and flexible service, excellent location right next to the Zillertalbahn station. Room was tidy and breakfast delicious. There's also a small sauna available which was a nice surprise after a long skiing day.
From Zell am Zieller you could go everywhere in beautiful valley and Hintertux glacier is 25 minutes drive.
In this small town you could find everything you need and the hotel itself is really an apartment one.
Great and friendly host, always ready to suggest the best places for rent, skiing, and eating. Also very supportive when we need something.
The Spa facilities were as a pleasant bonus to the vacation!
We had the best stay! We had an apartment with three separate rooms, everything was clean, spacious and comfortable. Andrea, the owner, was very helplpful and we definitely recommend this hotel.
We like everything about the hotel . . . the lobby, the restaurant, the staffs, the location, the room . . . The views are magnificient and the room design is beyond words can describe.
Spa facilities were exceptional as well as breakfast.
My family went to Horbergbahn for ski .It's part of Mayrhofen ski area and it take only 10 min of driving to get there
