I spent unforgettable moments at the guesthouse, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to relax. The location of the guesthouse is simply perfect – it is situated right next to the highway leading from Austria to Italy, making it an ideal stopover on a journey.

Quiet accommodation location. Pleasant neighbors and a great lady owner. Large, spacious apartment with amenities and an amazing sofa. And as a bonus VHS James Bond 👍. Great and I recommend it 😀.

We went there particularly to visit the site of Stalag XVIIIA. First stop, Lavanthaus Museum, which has display about the three camps on the site over time; also publication in German and English. (Museum also has interesting folk history of area.) Found stalag memorial at junction of Lagerstrasse and Sankt Thomasstrasse. Campsite is now industry and housing. Walked through on Lagerstrasse. Satisfied to have seen the site and area where Aussie father was POW for 4 years.
Memo to Wolfsberg: your street signage is woeful.

This is a very beautiful town, surrounded by beautiful mountains. There is a very pleasant pedestrian area where you can drink delicious coffee and have a delicious cake!
The people are very friendly. You can walk to the castle, which is very beautiful. You can also visit the nearby cities.

Wolfsberg was a base for us for the F1 weekend in Spielberg.
Wolfsberg was a base for us for the F1 weekend in Spielberg. It had everything we needed a couple of supermarkets to stock up and the usual fast food restaurants as well as more traditional places to eat. By far for us the Schwimmbad is a fabulous place to cool off from the intense heat. The facility is second to none with 50m comp pool, diving pool and very large family pool as well as slide, so cheap to enter.
This is second time that we chose to stay in this hotel. We booked half board because the room is quiet big and very clean, the dinner is delicious and the breakfast has great variety of healthy food. Manual is very kind to give us a room in the third floor. Unfortunately because the air-condition was broken in second and third floors during this hottest period, we were given a room in the first floor. It is a very good hotel for a stop-over before going back to our destination.
The room 15 looked amazing inside and the hotel was very clean and nice. Also The staff was very helpful and friendly, speaking so many languages to choose from :) The TV's were nice and quite modern, which is not always the case in such stays, that's a detail but not insignificant. Breakfast was very nice, lots of things to choose from and even a beer available, that's a first! Really like the homemade bread and spreads.
Amazing hotel with amazing food. Incredible views surrendered with nature and beautiful hills. Playground for children, farm animals and hotel's golden retriever was just bonus. Hotel is new and very clean, nice decorated. If you want a place to relax and enjoy beautiful nature than this is a place you should visit. I would definitely come again.
Amazing hotel in great location with beautiful views and of course with amazing food. Great home made meals with local ingrediets. One of the best places what we visit this year - place where you can meet great people. We arrived by motorbike and they automatically offer the parking in the garage - great service. We will definitely come again.
The very nice historic building with exeptionally spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. The place and staff are friendly to foreigners. Delicious breakfast with local products. We also recommend the hotel restaurant. The hotel has two parking lots. Right next to it there is a bakery with tasty pastries.
The apartment was excellent ! In the beautiful house, near the castle and the center of the city. Very comfortable, very clean. The owner was very very kind and helpful. Although there was no crib the owner managed to organize a one for us!! Thank you so much for that :)
The driveway was covered with ice… a lot of ice. it was almost impossible to get there, we almost died. had to stop in the halfway and put the chains on, in the middle of the night. the hotel should have done anything about it. anything. At least inform about it
Very confy room, fabulous breakfast and friendly staff. Hope building refurbish will end soon. Tasty traditional food at restaurant. We had also a free private parking for our car, near a local bakery ( just check-in for fresh stuff), 50 m from hotel building.
