Everything was beyond reproach. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom, sparkling. Breakfast had great variety and was freshly cooked. The room was tidied up quickly and efficiently. The staff smiled and was polite. I wouldn’t mind returning.

I just loved everything in that place! I stayed there for 4 nights and wouldn't have wanted to leave. I slept very well here and it was such a relaxing hotel.
The owner family and their staff were marvellous!
The breakfast was excellent with a lot of local or home made food.
The wellness area was lovely: it was only for adults and very peaceful. The pools were allowed for all ages. There is free tea, bubble water and small snacks.
I didn't have a car, but I rented an e-bike for 15 euros and explored Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall with it. There is also a local taxi, who will drive you anywhere you want in Wals' area for 1 euro.
Laschenskyhof Hotel & Spa, with its comfortable lounge and sun terrace, is famous for its excellent, traditional meals which are served throughout the day.

Excellent place to stay on your drive through Austria or to explore Salzburg. Busses leave every 10 minutes so you can just leave your car at the hotel.

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there.
We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking.
Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

2.There is no refrigerator and safe in the rooms, in my opinion this is a big drawback, a hotel with excellent service like the Kammel needs a safe and a refrigerator in the room for the comfort of the guests
Very welcoming atmosphere, comfortable, stylish accommodation. Great pools, wellbeing facilities new, clean, very well organised. Friendly staff always eager to help. had dinner a couple of times, enjoyed the food and puddings - delicious! Also a nice bar area for a night cap. What surprised us was that the hotel and facilities didn’t feel too busy whilst the hotel was fully booked. Very easy to get into town using the local bus, an 18mins journey. Definitely will return!
i loved the aesthetics of the hotel - it is modern but homely. the indoor pool and access to sauna were excellent; the shower gel smelled amazing, everything was awesome. on arrival, there was a fruit basket waiting with a welcome note, which was an awesome touch.
Location is nice, near to Salzburg by car. Parking is very convenient.
Host is very nice, we had some trouble with our key card on weekend, when there is usually no one at the hotel. But i called and they came quite fast and resolved the key issue :).
