My stay at Lesachtalerhof was enjoyable. I wasn’t looking for luxury, but rather a cozy local inn in a small village, and this place fit the bill perfectly. You could make a movie about a trip to this guest house :) We were driving at night and turned off the main road onto a dirt road. The uphill climb began, serpentine. All around is dark, dense forest. It looked like the beginning of a good horror movie)) We all drove and drove along the cliff along very sharp turns. Here I would like to say a huge thanks to the owners of the guest house - the sweet Lady waited for us until late at night, was very kind in her correspondence and personally met our car in the yard! The fairy tale began in the morning when we saw the incredibly beautiful landscape around the house!! This is just an incredibly beautiful place!! You must visit here!!! There is a large playground for children with beautiful mountains in the background! Gorgeous views down the valley!! And there are real llamas grazing right next to the house!! The house and room itself are very simple and cozy, as if you were visiting your parents.

The chalet is very cozy. We stayed in the last floor, with a balcony to the very green hills. We were lucky with sun all the days and the view was amazing. The location is usual for the region: there is no big stores or malls but mainly few small supermarkets and local restaurants. It is less than 1h to the "big" cities in Italy like San Candido, Dobbiaco, etc. Staying there you can do both Italy and Austria (we did and it was very easy). The hosts are very polite and lovely. They left us a strudel and answered all questions by booking chat in minutes. The chalet has a very complete kitchen with induction cooktop, oven, microwave and everything you need to cook. The living room has a couch and the typical german corner sofa with TV with all apps (netflix, youtube, etc). You have the reserved restroom separated from the bathroom. The chalet is very clean. You can park outside the chalet inside the property.

Beautiful, just perfectly beautiful!! Quiet, super clean, most comfortable beds. So much love and care goes into this hotel from the owner. The „secret“ garden where one can relax. Tucked away but yet close enough to Lienz and beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was out of this world; it was really good! The dinner too.
