The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a great atmosphere. Furthermore, the dinner menu was exceptional - portions were just right and every course was phenomenal! Everything was clean and the facilities and rooms are big. Also the breakfast offered is great with a lot of options for everyone.

The owner was very friendly! There was a little hiccup with our booking which could be resolved easily. Also, the pizzeria downstairs was rather loud, but the owner took care of it.

The hotel is great. Modern and spacious rooms, nice bathrooms. Good food both for dinner and breakfast. Good value for money. I really liked the fact that I was allowed to use the spa also on the day of my departure.

Schruns was attractive and characterful. The skiing is fun with lots of tree runs and itineraries and would be amazing for skiing with fresh powder.
I would not recommend staying at the Hotel Krone.

Off street parking was great.
Off street parking was great. Our room was lovely, with a deck and magnificent mountain views. It was very short stroll to the lovely ski village with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Our breakfast was very good. Check in was simple and the owner was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good balance in doing activities and relax.
Activities: walking/hiking of diverse levels, parapente, golf (9 holes), mountainbiking, swimming in excellent pool, tennis, toboggan (realy nice and long track), klettersteig, climbing, good basis to go to other areas like Brand in Vorarlberg (app 30 minutes drive), the astounishing Silvesstra-route with a lot of hairpins, etc.
Relaxing: the (same) swimming pool with three (!) pools, two beachballfields and a large lawn, the village with quite a few nice restaurants, the nice hiking-possibilities to clear your mind, etc.

If you want great skiing , an authentic Austrian experience...
If you want great skiing , an authentic Austrian experience (with plenty of restaurants to choose from), the Montafon Valley has it all....and if you go in low season, you will nearly have the slopes to yourself. Leave your skis and boots on the mountain (rent a locker and it is heated overnight so everything is dry for the next day) so no hauling your gear up and down each day. Five areas to choose from with a free ski bus to get you around.

Schruns is a smallish village in the Montafon ski area. The center around the church is car free and has a small selection of shops, supermarkets, cafés, etc. The Hochjoch cable car is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the center.

The hotel is an attractive building in a convenient and attractive location at the centre of town. The sauna area is nicely done and a pleasant place to relax. Their pasta and pizzas were very good. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. However, it is not living up to its 4-star status and offers extremely poor value for money.
Outstanding spa hotel. The spa facilities are excellent. If you are looking for a place to unwind and recoup, this is the place to go.
The alpine location is splendid and it is easy to reach by train.
Amrai is located 5 minutes by foot from the Schruns train station. And the same distance to the romantic center and heart of Schruns.
