Dinner menu was different everyday, with locally sourced ingredients and bountiful food. They had several special event dinners, including a vast spread of fish, sushi, shellfish etc for Shrove Tuesday.

Cute city, but lacks content. We were there for skiing in the winter months. Ski area is pretty small, just a few slopes. The city itself is very small and cute, but boring. There is no events or activities except skiing whatsoever. It also lacks restaurants and cafes in the city and at the skiing grounds as well. There are 2 middle sized grocery stores which is ok. It has beautiful nature and is very peaceful and quiet.

The village is rural and has a lovely rustic feel. If you have beginners in the group you need to know that the main ski area is separated from the nursery slopes by a cable car ride. If the whole group can ski blue runs or higher this would not be a problem but if you have to meet beginners at the bottom you need to factor in time to get back there. The resort is on the small side but v. busy during school holidays. The ski schools are excellent.

This resort was amazing for us. Great modern and clean apartments, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Spa and pool area were lovely with stunning views and resting areas. Great service and help at front desk. We came in may and it was quiet and just perfect for us

The surroundings are very scenic and Rauris represents the ideal starting point for walks in the area, giving good access to the Rauristal and the Grossglockner. The "guest card" means that many attractions can be visited without paying. A thoroughly enjoyable place and we shall go there again.

Peace, relaxation, plenty of possibilities for hiking in...
Peace, relaxation, plenty of possibilities for hiking in nature, birdwatching (interesting birds of prey centre and living birds of prey demonstration - I even touched an owl, WHOW!), very interesting local history and cultural heritage (museum!) - just perfect place to relax away from mass tourism. But Rauris has everything much larger and crowdier places have - including a cable car, nice restaurants and caffes, shops with sport equipment... all at hand and very friendly.
Very good location within 2 minutes walking distance of the main gondola. Spacious room in basement for skiis and boots. The Sauna was superb and the apartment was bigger than we expected. More than enough space for a family of 5. The owner Otto was very helpful with any questions we had and all communication with staff was good. Restaurants, grocery store (Billa) and outdoor sporting goods stores (Eggers and Intersport) are within walking distance. We did not have a car and that was no problem at all.
Good location for the ski area, can walk, although recommend putting at least the skis in a locker by the resort overnight. Reasonably-sized rooms and there was a ski storage room. We had parking in the garage underneath the property, which was convenient. There is a laundrette, although would imagine if the place is busy, you might struggle, as only 2 machines for the complex. Small gym, which was adequate enough. We were lucky and had a decent view, even though only on 1st floor.
The house is just marvelous, with 3 floors, large and very nice decorated living room, Sauna, bedroom and game room in the basement, and 3 further bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the second floor.
Location is good - near to several sleigh or ski slopes.
A fireplace in the living room to create a perfect winter experience and grill in the back yard for those who like have their steak well done :).

Object with a soul. Helpful owners who created a unique atmosphere. Alpine house very clean and well-kept. Convenient parking spaces. Delicious, hearty breakfasts. Everyone will find something for himself. The vicinity of the town of Rauris is a guarantee of a successful, active holiday. Ski slopes, hiking trails and endless motorcycle routes. I look forward to my next trip and meeting with wonderful hosts.
We loved the town of Rauris, easy access to restaurants and other areas in the Tirol. Beautiful scenery right outside our balcony! Parking was easy and there were washing machine facilities available that we took advantage of. Smart TV for evenings where we could use our own netflix was also great. Each room has their own wifi which is super helpful.
The spa area was incredible - everything felt brand new about the hotel. It was extremely quiet in our room even though we were very close to lots of other people. It was also very close to the ski lift (truly ski in / ski out which was great). Huge balcony to hang out on and lots of space to hang out with our 9 total people. Great value!
Lovely, cosy pension in the city centre. Staff was really kind, room was super clean and modern. Buffet breakfast was over our expectations. Nationalpark Sommercard provided daily free access to many tourist attraction, which was very useful and economic. Rauris itself was awsome with its rustic athmosphere.
The apartment is located 5 minutes by walk from the city centre. Easy access by car to ski lifts in Rauris (5 minutes) or e.g.g Dorfgeastein (less than 30 min). Apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. It has a really nice view. Hosts are nice and helpful. Beds are really comfortable.
We Had four separate apartments booked on different days and the staff often did not stay till the 18:00 indicated time. For two of the apartments they simply pasted the keys on the reception door. For the fourth they didn't issue the keys, leaving us scrambling to find a night guard.

Was a great apartment, very comfortable. Fully recommended it for a family trip. You have everything you need, only need to buy food. Very near is the town and you have ski facilities. The host were very helpful with information to go around.
Receptionist and waiters very helpful and friendly doing everything so guests can feel comfortable. Breakfast, room and hotel very nice and comfortable. Rauris is a good location to do family walks and also more demanding ones.
The appartment is very clean, well equippped and large for family with 2 children. Maria is very nice and wiling woman. Location is perfect for skiing. Lift is not far. It' s a place you like to come back.
