The host was amazing and very friendly, who provided us a lot of information, insights and tips. We got gifts when checking in and out and the breakfast buffet was delicious which included a wide variety of self-made products. There are a lot of Sauna-opportunities.

A beautiful unspoiled natural area, lovely welcoming people. The scenery is so stunning. So few British people seem to visit and we don’t understand why! It was lovely in summer, swimming in the lake, and in winter we returned for walking and skiing.

Pertisau is a small Austrian town on the Achensee.
Pertisau is a small Austrian town on the Achensee. It is very beautiful, very clean. One can walk to restaurants, mountain lifts, shops and lakeside. There are several hikes up the mountains and around the lake that are fun for fit individuals. The boat rides provide access to beautiful vistas, as well as transportation to and from points of interest on the lake. A two-day visit can be rewarding. I've also stayed in Achenkirch and Maurach on Lake Achensee, but Pertisau is my favorite.

The walk along the lake edge and rides on the boats were fantastic and I highly recommend. Also the Rofan and Barenbad cable cars were super even if it is still summery and there is no snow, there are plenty of opportunities for some great walking or hiking. Otherwise it is the perfect place just to kick back and relax enjoying the mountain and lake views. The Achensee Tourist Pass is good value for money too so make sure you get a card at your hotel and then get the upgrade for approx 80 euro that gives you free transport, free boat rides and free rides on the gondolas.

Pertisau is a beautiful location.
Pertisau is a beautiful location. It is suitable for people of all ages and there are a wide range of activities for the active and those wishing for a more relaxing visit. There are a multitude of walking and hiking routes suitable for those wishing to reach summits or for those wishing to see the lake or take in the marvelous woodlands and pastures.
We enjoyed the varied hiking , walking the lake side paths , cycling which can be a woodland route saunter or a mountain adventure.
To access and enjoy the area there are buses, pleasure boats ,bikes and lifts. There are a few restaurants and hotels to eat. We were self catering
and mainly ate in. We love Pertisau for the mountain walks the wonderful woodland and pastures we have returned revitalised , fit and full of marvelous memories.

It is a beautiful lake with plenty of alternatives for a holiday. Boat trip on the lake, swimming, boat hire and mountain lift. A variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Also good for activities - golf, hiking, and walking
Everything was fantastic. The other and the staff were friendly and attentive to details. The room had enough space; it had a very comfy bed. We received a complimentary small set of local products (from Tyrolean shale oil). Apart from buffet for breakfast, there was a a variety of eggs you could order (sunny side up, scrambled, etc). The sauna was very well made and had a nice atmosphere.
The hotel has a private parking, where we left the car for our entire stay. We got a local guest card, which can be used as a fare in local buses
The hotel is located just near the Achebsee and has a private access to the beach for swimming.
The rooms are spacious abd some of them has the view of the lake.
The rooms are very clean and have all the basic necessities one may need.
The staffs are very helpful and accomodate all your needs.
The food at the restaurant is also great and should not be missed!
The rooms were large and very comfortable. Comes with a balcony and comfy chairs in the room. Being right next to the pier for the ferry made it an easy hop on. The town is not big and several restaurants nearby gave good dining options. Loved the pool in summer!

İt was very comfortable. The room was great. Allthe little details were thought such as a place for bikes, warming the towel rack, putting a nice cloth under the water jar and glasses etc. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel was very close to the beach just two minutes by car. The sister hotel spa was amazing! The dinner was great too.
Hotel was very modern and very spacious. Well designed bedrooms and communal areas. Very luxurious and tastefully curation of design throughout the hotel. The food was excellent, probably amongst the best we had in Austria, amazing breakfasts and dinners.The spa very extensive, with numerous saunas and treatment rooms.
The staff are so nice and helpful especially the Italian guy who welcomed us at the reception, he took us around the hotel and show us the the facilities, The location is fabulous.
Every thing was amazing and we are so glad that we choose this hotel. We will come back again in the future if the hotel keeps the same.
The staff were exceptionally amazing, the service was superb with delicious breakfast every morning. Additionally, the sauna and pool facilities were very well maintained. Overall, perfect for a short winter get away. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
After visiting Das Rieser last year, we came back this year again. The experience was even better!
The Spa is great, the part of the hotel where we were was freshly renovated and the kids playground is much bigger than last year.
The location was perfect for initiating the hike along the Achensee and for accessing stores, restaurants and the bergbahn in Pertisau. The room had a nice balcony and view of the lake and mountains. Breakfast was very good.

Location and super friendly owners :) We loved the breakfast, small private sauna a the cross-country-skiing paradise starting not even 400 meters from the pension. Would recommend 100%.
Location is perfect, you can walk everywhere. It is right on the golf course. The appartment is very spacious and well-equipped. It is immaculate. Achensee is absolutely beautiful!
