MIttersill is not a big town, but it sits in the middle of an amazing area full of mountain views, castles, and amazing hiking especially if you use the many, many ski lifts in the area to get up into the mountains.
Location gives easy access to Kitzbuhel, Grossglockner Pass, and numerous parks and beautiful hiking areas.
Recommend staying out of town in the many properties available on the hillsides. Beautifully built homes with lots of wood, decks for views, and easy access to roads, grocery stores, and everything needed for a great vacation!

This cabin was absolutely stunning, cozy place. We were there in group of 7 (a family) and were very satisfied. There are two roads to access the accommodation, from the main road (steep) and from the back road (more safe in winter). The host speaks mainly German, so be aware of that and learn some words if you’re not speaking german language. Shower has very nice hot water, view is splendid, location great. We will definitely return!

Mittersill is basicly bigger village nex to skiing resort. Its quiet in the evening, havent seed any party, after 8 pm there were no parties, no loud music. But also not so many restaurants. So if you want quiet place where to stay during skiing holiday, this village is good choice.
Very clean and new looking apartment set in a beautiful setting of the mountains in the Mittersill area.
Very well equipped kitchen and the owners provided all the baby necessities like baby chair, bath, changing mattress and bin for the diapers.
The property has a beautiful garden with stunning views. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained outside and inside in case it rains.
For those skiing, fishing or mountain biking they have a dedicated heated room to dry your stuff, very cool!
Beautiful location just outside of the town. Fabulously appointed attic apartment which was perfect for our family of five. Showers and vanities in each bedroom was very convenient. Loved the wood fireplace that was lit for us each afternoon to make the apartment cozy and warm when we returned from snowboarding. The host family made our Xmas very special with a plate home baked treats and other Austrian traditions.

We had an amazing stay at the Pass Thurn hotel! Modern & comfortable rooms, great breakfast and excellent wellness facilities. The Summer pass was included in the price of the reservation and we used it for the cable car in a village near Mittersill (saved us €56 for 2 persons). Great value for your money! We are planning to return soon!
The view from the hotel room we chose was breath taking! We had a suite with a kitchen, bathroom etc. It was a stunning room and a very rare find.
Parking is very convenient and they have a ski box.

Unassuming hotel from the front entrance but really beautiful rooms with large balconies and great views inside. Will definitely come back here in winter for holidays. Friendly host too
