We loved our host! Claire was very sweet, kind and helpful. She gave us tips and was able to arrange everything for us that we needed! Also a huge bonus was Stubai Super card, which came with the accommodation for free. It´s applicable for the Stubai valley and you can use it for Glacier cable cars, swimming pool, transport etc. We ended up saving a lot of money using this card which we highly appreciated.
In the Stubaital Valley, a 5-minute walk from the centre of Mieders, this guest house offers apartments with a terrace or balcony, mountain views and free Wi-Fi.

I stayed here for the proximity tothe airport. It is literally a few minutes walk down the road which was amazing. Breakfast is served in a large airy room and all the food was really tasty. The bar area lacked a bit of atmosphere but I was just pleased to have got there after a long day of travelling. The room was stunning, big with a lovely sofa to relax in.

Beautiful location. The public transport pass was very useful. An electric kettle would be a nice addition to the rooms
The Hotel Grünwalderhof is located 5 km from Innsbruck at the foot of the Patscherkofel mountain in Tyrol. The cable car is 1.6 km from the property. Free WiFi is offered.
Special!! Inspiring to the point where you almost forget where you are coming from. Rural and peaceful to thoroughly enjoy long walks through nature. Our longest walk was from Mieders to Neustift and we loved every moment of it. We do hope and look forward to going back to Mieders in the future. Transport from/to Innsbruck and to the glacier area is frequent and very efficient. There is not a lot of restaurants, but, the ones available are awesome!!.

On one hand, it is very central - close to Innsbruck, but on other hand, if you want to go directly to Innsbruck direction without spending time, you have to pay 3.5 Eur to use the bridge (same is on the way back). If you don't want to pay, you will go to Innsbruck 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes. Similar is for any time that you need to go to Innsbruck direction or to the right direction (east) from Innsbruck.

Nice quiet little town, right in the middle of the Alps.
Nice quiet little town, right in the middle of the Alps. It is near Stubai Glacier (30 minutes by car), Oetztal and Kaunertaler glaciers (1 - 1.5 h by car). Serlesbahnen offers a beautiful experience and when reaching the destination on top of Mieders, there are many other mountain activities available. Meiders is also very close (20 minutes by car) to Innsbruck, a city one must visit at least once for its beautiful architecture and atmosphere.

Hotel Wiesenhof is a classic Austrian style hotel with great mountain views and caring staff.
Yes; It’s a bit outdated but it has a lot of charm and the rooms are clean.
The restaurant with outside terras is a great bonus. The food is simple but decent!
The village, Mieders is relatively small, but everything is needed here. I was very pleased with the behavior of the people. Everyone was helpful and smiling. The landlords are very helpful and nice.
The stay was quiet and relaxing.
Haus Driendl is a beautiful house, with a wonderful lady and son owning and managing it. Both myself and my partner felt quite 'at home', also inspired and positively impressed by the sense of close community in Mieders.
