Very easy to get to by public transport.
Very easy to get to by public transport. Always snow in Mayrhofen. Very convenient for gondolas up the mountain. Lots of ski hire places which are quick and efficient (no hanging around). Loads of nice shops cafes bars and restaurants. Lively resort but even though our room was right in the centre of apres ski activities it wasn't noisy once inside our room.

Nice town with a number of good restaurants and shops. Frequent buses serve the entire area and Penkenbahn gondola which delivers you to a vast ski area is just 5 minutes away.

Not a very happy go lucky vibe ... despite good weather and great snow there wasn't much smiling or joy from the other visitors .. except from the Dutch ... on whom we can rely on to cheer up the scene. Hintertux well worth a day or two's visit.

This was the first hotel in my experience with the best dryer for ski boots and skis. And definitely, this is one of reasons, why I would recommend this hotel for stay. There is also a sauna and Turkish bath, so you can relax next door to your apartment.
We were 4 people and we choose one apartment for all - and we got quite bizarre apartment. It consists of two rooms, but both rooms was in line from entrance door to window. That means, the first room with beds had not windows and suitable ventilation, so ya, it was odd...
Exceptionally well run family hotel. The family run this hotel very well with emphasis on a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. The rooms were very modern with great facilities and the spa downstairs was a great feature with multiple sauna and steam. The breakfast was excellent and the staff went out of their way to help. A short walk or bus to the Cable car depending on how energetic you feel. Close to the town and all bars and restaurants .
Very friendly staff at check-in and generally a really nice little hotel at the start of the "strip".. ie. the street with all the restaurants and pubs, and of course the "Penkenbahn"... the gondola liftoff spot for the Mayrhofen ski resort. Breakfast is tops (as is normal in Austria) with fresh "Semmeln" almost still warm from the local bakery. Love coming back year after year with the family! Mayrhofen is world class
This is a lovely and clean apartment. Location is very good. The owner Ruth is very helpful. She helped me to arrange digital guest card ahead then I can use free public transport to Mayrhofen from Jenbach on checking day. Due to there are two days that apartment non occupied, Ruth told me that I can late check out. Also I found microwave wasn’t working, she bought new one in 20mins. That’s very effective.

This makes the location very advantages for guests willing to get easily up to the skiing or hiking areas.
Good breakfasts and dinners, a more than satisfying SAP area with a number of saunas and swimming pools.

Cracking little hotel in a fantastic location, really close to Penken lift. Google map doesn’t show it, but there’s a little shortcut path that makes the walk to the lift / high street really short, about three minutes. Also the staff were wonderful and really helpful.
Comfortable rooms - good ski storing facilities - close to ski bus - nice staff - nice view - close to wonderful play ground (900 m) as well as the river (300 m) and a cute little chapel on a hill (300 m) - walking distance to Mayrhofen along the river (20 min)
Absolutely delicious breakfast. Large, clean, well appointed room with a fantastic shower. Ski bus to Penkenbahn stops right outside hotel, couldn’t have been easier. And a short stroll to the shops, restaurants & bars of Mayrhofen.
Junior suite was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the pool and saunas. Right at the shuttle stop with great access to Mayrhofen or the train to other areas in the valley.
This is a family owned hotel and vibes are in accordance (for the good:-)) Staff is amazing, great facilities, very spacious apartments/rooms, awesome breakfast. Couldn't ask for more. Will be back for sure!

This is a cool trendy hotel. It's in a great location on the edge of town really close to the train station. Mike the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
