The Wachauerhof is in a good position for the town and had all the facilities we needed for a stop over on our travels, there was parking the breakfast was good with Muisli and plenty of choice for a continental breakfast (no fry up) which suited us fine.
The restaurant was nice and the gulash with dumplings was great, there is a bar for guests and outside customers although we did'nt use it the bar seemed really nice and traditional, we would definately stay again when in the area.

We were thrilled to be able to stay in the countryside and not in a tourist town like Melk. We loved coming back to the cozy tower every day after our excursions and relaxing on the outdoor seating area. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean and perfectly equipped. Our stay at the tower in Leiben was wonderful and we definitely plan to return.
Have been staying at Hotels and Hostels now for a couple of years. I get a little sad when to many hotels make a millon rooms that looks the same. Cottage nr 9 was quite the opposite. Creativety and happieness could be shown all over the house. When one of the austrian lockdowns took place that unabled me to visit austria I got kind help to rebook and the communication was always focused on solutions and that was positive...
