I don't know how to describe how wonderful this hotel was. The welcoming feeling was like walking in to your best friend's house for a short stay. The owners were helpful with all of our questions and directed our traveling partners to the best sites to see in Kuchl. I won't reveal the special little touches generously provided by the owners. The breakfast was outstanding. We spent the month of September traveling in Austria and northern Italy staying in many different hotels so you notice the little things in the design of the room that you wish were in each hotel room. The thoughtful design of the room checked off everything on my list of items I like in a hotel room.

Really nice room with a massive shared decking area! For the price we paid i did not expect this amazing room!! Really nice, clean and big! Very friendly staff and really great food in their restaurang , even had vegan food for my son for dinner. Not for breakfast though but we knew that so had brought our own.

Kuchl is a lovely austrian countryside in the midst of Alps foothills. 30 mins south of salzburg and 10 mins from hallein. You are surrounded by snowy hilltops and lots of pine trees. This town is away from all the tourist crowd and noise.
It’s a great place to stay in Kuchl, and in general in this area. We stayed there three times already :) We always have a great rest there and never get bored. There is a lot of activities, you can go hiking (which we prefer :)), cycling, walking, swimming in a beautiful lake 5 minutes walk from the hotel and many more.
There is a great family atmosphere which we love ❤️ Rooms are comfortable and perfectly clean.
Breakfasts are really exceptional! A lot of possibilities and everything is very tasty 😋
Absolutely amazing location with brilliant hospitality. This hotel is in such a beautiful location with beautiful views everywhere you look from huge snowy mountains on one side to exceptional views of mountains and rivers on the other. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great with a huge selection of food. Theres many attractions nearby and even though the hotel seems in the middle of nowhere within the mountains in only a few minutes away from quite a few big shops.
Lovely Austrian countryside in the midst of Alps foothills. Apartment is very spacious, clean and perfect for family. You have everything you need and kitchen is fully equipped-with plates, pots, glasses for wine, coffee and etc. 30 mins from Salzburg and 10 mins from hallein. Marienne was a great host and was very helpful, prepared everything. There are few grocery stores in kuchl center, a big interspar in hallein. Highly Recommend!
Probably the best hotel we ever stayed in. In reality it is even better than on the photos. It is a family busines, the staff is very nice, the hotel itself is extremely cozy, breakfast is very delicious. One can definitely feel like at home there.
The hotel has a lawn with a playground to take a rest after a day trip. There are a lot of scenic places around to visit.
Basically everything about the hotel is exceptionally great.

This is an utterly charming guest house with warm welcoming hosts . The breakfast is superb with the best choice and freshest ingredients to choose from. Super view of the mountains from our window. Fantastic scheme of Tennengau card supplied by hotel gave us free travel on the train into Salzburg and the train station is 3 mins walk away !
This hotel describes itself as a 'B&B' but it is much more than that. It is quite simply the best 'B&B' I have ever stayed in. The location and scenery are spectacular. The breakfasts were excellent (table service, no buffet!). The hosts were very welcoming. There is even an ice machine in the foyer! I can't rate this hotel highly enough.
We really enjoyed our stay in Kuchl. The apartment is cosy and clean, the kitchen is well equipped; everything is pretty new. The hosts were super nice and helpful, and assisted with suggestions what to do in and around Salzburg. It was a very pleasant stay, we will come back for sure in summer time.

The nature around the hotel is very beautiful on side to the mountains and the other side to the valley. The place itself is furnished with old robust furniture with lots of beautiful ornaments. There is a swimming pool that we have not used due to weather condition.
It was absolutely wonderful. Small, quiet town, well decorated hotel with attention to every small detail, very comfortable rooms, yummy breakfast and most of all, the family who runs the place are so nice. You can feel they genuinely care about their guests.

Great location above the valley. You can enjoy the panorama of mountains above river Salzah. The owner are very kind, great breakfast and amenities table tennis, big chess. Near to Kuchl.
It was clean and comfortable, and Kuchl is beautiful. The host was great, fixing a minor issue with the toilet immediately, and also giving us great advice to take the train to Salzburg.
The room was cozy, and well equipped. The family running the hotel was also very friendly, helpful and generally very nice people. Also, the breakfast was delicious with a huge variety.
