Got a last minute free upgrade on booking site, so we had all - inclusive meals for the price of breakfast. So that was excellent deal. All inclusive is including beer, wine, even some alcoholic spirits.. Meals were tasty,lot of healthy food was there. Motorbikes were parked in the garage for free

Everything was great! The staff was really attentive and helpful. Even i was the only customer for the day, the still treat me very warm. Well of course it’s kinda scare satying alone in 30 room hotel by yourself but still it was a great place to stay! The view is superb and breakfast too!

I loved this family run hotel. All of the staff were helpful and attentive and the food was amazing. Great location ideal for the 2 main ski lifts with buses stopping literally outside. The sauna and swimming pool were also great to have to relax in the afternoon. Thank you to all the staff.

The Geography and skiing are everyone's reason for going to Kaprun. They are both excellent. The town itself was pretty quiet in early April. Pizza shops dominated the dining seen. Some of the business had Arabic words written on their signs. I don't believe that these words were necessary for Arab travelers, but detract from the authentic alpine atmosphere.
The ski lift was my favorite facility.
The Aplenhaus restaurant was the best place to eat.
I would avoid going up the mountain on anything but the first lift in the moring

Skiing Kaprun / Zell am See in March is excellent but the weather can be changeable . Also can be busy on the glacier at times and the route back to the Alpincentrr can be bumping and very congested.
Great apres ski options at the bottom of the maiskogelbahn . Baumbar and Paletti are particularly excellent .
The Bründl shop / ski hire location at the foot of the maiskogel provide lockers which are brilliant when you finish for the day to deposit your skis and boots , change into normal shoes and hit the apres ski entertainment. Great staff here as wel , always helpful and friendly

Kaprun has a small town feel about it.
Kaprun has a small town feel about it. Roads are kept clear and the area spotlessly clean. Everything we need for skiing or just enjoying a winter break is available. Fellow tourists and locals are all great company.

I was there because I was skiing on the glacier. The ski slopes are fine. Generally, conditions are good because they are placed at high altitudes. I like the size of Kaprun town. It's not too big. I recommend going there for skiing.

Ski area is great for all abilities as the lower slopes caters more for beginners and the upper slopes accessed via the 3K-Konnection gondola caters for all skiers.
Kaprun itself has a great variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
Auhof restaurant was superb for a family meal and Chilla's was great for street type food

Nice town with plenty of restaurants. Close to town is a gorge to vist along a path attached to the valley wall. And can walk along river and lake.Short drive to zell am see - lovely lake and pubs nearby.
Son was working on new hydroelectric plant tunnel in town and could have stayed longer.
The Pension is family owned and managed; very friendly host. Room is large, clean and has great beds. Facilities, including breakfast pretty basic, but just in line with a 3 star facility. People should not expect 4 or 5 star treatment in a 3 star facility, although hospitality is at 5 star level! This pension has the best location in Kaprun in "crawling" distance from the Maiskugel Bergbahn (ski lift). Parking lot was nicely cleaned in the morning after snowfall during the night, assuring a safe and convenient departure.
We stayed in this apartment hotel for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect.
The location is wonderfull and close to everything, the staff was super helpful and nice, the apartment had everything we need and even more and also very well designed.
The hotel also provid us with the Kaprun Zell am See summer card and free entrance to the Tauren Spa so basicelly all outdoor activities we did were covered.
We had such a great time and definitely will recommend our friends to visit.

The hotel was lovely. Our room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. For meals, we opted for half-board and were never disappointed. The breakfast was always a combination of cold and hot dishes, ranging from cornflakes to omelets. The dinners were always three course, with selection of starters, meat, fish or vegan options for main and lovely selection of deserts.
To access the slopes, we used a ski bus, the bus stop was only around 50-70m from the hotel.
Apartment is cozy, modern and great for family or group of friends.
It has everything and more than you need for amazing skii trip. Short walk to the ski bus station and very close to the city center of Kaprun. Staff is super helpful and you won’t miss a thing during your stay! I will definitely recommend Appartament Kitzstainhor to everyone! Well done! Special thanks to Adrian for helping us with smooth check-in and everything we needed during our stay
It was a great stay.. with all the benefits. Close to all the ski-areas.. we went to Zell am See / Saalbach and off course Kaprun.. the easy access to the gletsjer was amazing. Walking distance fro the Maiskogelbahn that brings you there! Good warming room for your gear and we slept like babies in the comfortable beds after taking a sauna downstairs. The view on the mountains took us instantly in the holiday-vibe.. thanks hosts for this lovely stay!
The host is super helpful and always smiling. The reciption employee both were polite and helpful. I took family room for 4 person and was comfortable with nice view balcony. The hotel looks newly renovated, it's was very clean with nice finishung. Location is near the center , you can just walk to there. The breakfast was fresh and delicious although it's the same every day. I really enjoyed staying there and my children as well.
The apartment was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need. Great location, right in the middle between the two ski resorts, which can be reached very quickly by bus, the stop of which is a 2-minute walk from the house. Also we are very grateful for the opportunity to use the Tauern spa for free. We will definitely be back! I recommend. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel at the centre of Kaprun. Super market at a walking distance, main cable car at 200m. All restaurants and caffees at walking distance. Apartment was big, very comfortable and fully equipped. Excellent value for money and will certainly consider it for coming back.
A great hotel for a stay in Kaprun. The room was modern, spacious and very well equipped. Large bathroom, comfortable to use. The breakfast was very good, a great selection of fruits, vegetables, eggs, cheese and bread. Personnel was very friendly and helpful.
It's a perfect place to stay for a few nights for a ski trip. The location is great to reach all the Ski resorts nearby (Kaprun, Zell am See, Saalbach). The whole building is a bit outdated but breakfast was more than enough and the staff is simply amazing!
It is exceptionally clean, family ran property with warm and cozy atmosphere. The hosts are very kind and helpful. It is close to the center of Kaprun, only 5 mins walk. Ski bus stops 80 m from the house, very convenient.
