Small village beside ski lift, a couple of restaurants, a bar on the slop and several hotel/apartment houses. Skiing starts directly from the centre of village, and in summer, I believe, there are many nice paths to see the nature.
The host Angela is amazing! She’s very approachable and she offered to prepare breakfast for us when she realized that nothing will be open for us on Sunday before we go skiing. Then she prepared breakfast for us each day of our stay! We offered to pay a small fee as she saved us so much hassle and it was great trying out local Austrian produce!
We got to meet her lovely 2 young boys Tony and Paul as well as the friendliest cat Leo!
Beautiful house and garden, great facilities for a family stay with large rooms and space to relax. Everything was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Kitchen was easy to use and well equipped and the wonderful kachelofen was lit for us every day by the hosts, who couldn't have been more helpful and kind. For access to the ski lifts, the bus was OK but free parking and a short drive suited us best.
The location is perfect. 5 minutes to bus station, 5 minutes to the lift, after skiing you can reach the hotel from the slopes. The owners are wonderful, attentive people who are directly approachable about any problem. The mattress felt too soft for me and the owners were happy to offer two alternatives – the new mattress was perfectly hard and let me have good sleep.
This property was excellent in every way. It was spacious and the balconies added to the already large space. Everything was top notch…lots of kitchen ware and the sauna was incredible after a long hike. Great showers, kitchen, living room…there was nothing to not like about this property. The views were amazing as well.
I visit this area for more than 12 years. I have to say that accommodation in Dorfstub'n Jochberg was best which I ever experienced in Kitzbühel ski resort. Delicious cousine , friendly staff . Acccomodation is very modern , clean and roomy , probably after recent reconstruction. We were extremely satisfied.
We had an amazing time at Residenz am Berg. Jochberg is a perfect location for skiers in Kitzbühel. The property was clean and very well equipped. Catherine and Franz were kind hosts - they handed over the keys at our arrival, provided a cot for our request and showed us how to use the sauna and fireplace.
We stayed one night when traveling through Austria. Accommodation met all our expectations. Kind owner, nice view from the balcony, well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom. We got a different room than we've booked, but it was quickly solved. Hope to come back for longer stay.
The house is well equipped( and clean) in case you're planning to cook for yourself .
We loved the hot-tub and the kids really enjoyed it too.

The hotel atmosphere was excellent. Room was well equiped and was big enough. Breakfast with lots of local food was exellent. Spa with outdoor pools one with normal and one with salty water were just a cherry on a top of the cake.
Staff and facilities very good and breakfast fabulous. Genuinely lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay. Lovely spa but over run by loud children in all the pools a lot of the time.

Very nice rooms with great views, the swimming pool was excellent, the natural attractions around the hotel were nice, you can enjoy star gazing at night, so many food choices for breakfast, it was a great experience.
Already our 2nd stay here. Very lovely modernly designed appartment in alpine style. Super clean. Communication with owner perfect and quick. You can use dayspa and pool in Kempinski hotel which is close (for a fee).
Very peaceful place and conveniently situated away from city center yet not too far. Mornings on the balcony were magical. Wellness area is significant and private for the size of the small hotel apartments.
It is the best place in Austria as close to the best world resort. The apartment is very nice, cozy, and comfortable. The host is also very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to everybody.
Branderhof is a lovely traditional farm that has very comfortable rooms to stay in . The owners are very kind and friendly and it is an easy drive to Jochberg , Pass Turn or Kitzbuhl
