Location was breathtaking and peaceful. The room was very very comfortable and also i loved the sauna seat. The sauna was definitely bonus point for some extra cherry on top.

The location is amazing. Next to a beautiful lake that we went swimming in every day even though the water was freezing, and there is a lovely walk over to the next lake only a few minutes up the road. Really nice buffet breakfast.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful place. We paid extra for the lake view and didn't regret it for a second, the view was worth it. The room was very clean, with thoughtful things that could be useful. Very stylish renovated furniture, tasteful design.Convenient parking space.

Excellent property just 15kms away from main Hallstatt. The drive was pleasant. The rooms are a bit far away from the main reception building but the view from the balcony was awesome. The restaurant is good too.

Very picturesque, quiet and calm place foo relaxation, or for nature walks. Beautiful lake, a bit cold, but you still can bath. You can also find nice little beaches when walking along the lake, not many people around. Not many places to eat, but the food in our hotel restaurant was delicious, very high level!
The accommodation is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. Lake Grundlsee is a beautiful quiet location, very suitable for family holidays, pleasant swimming, fishing in the lake. The apartment was cosy, clean, superbly equipped, e.g. many kitchen appliances, washing machine etc. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, gave us tips on excursions and events in the area, were interested in us all the time to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed.
Definitely recommend to try :-)
Location is very nice, overlooking the Grundlsee. For extra price we received a room in a bungalow with direct view on the lake. The room was just the right size, comfortably warm and the beds very comfi. The spa area is one of the best for a hotel - decent size pool with massage and 4 different saunas incl. steam and chill-out area. very modern.
The staff at the reception was friendly and offered several options regarding rooms and breakfast.
Andreas and Sigrid were awesome hosts. Their cooking was professional grade and the pension was spotlessly clean. Andreas told us the history of the land/house which goes back to the 1100s. The property has been in the family since the 1600s and a vacation property since 1745. It has been renovated to modern standards. It is just a great spot to enjoy the great benefits of Austria.
Everything was absolutely perfect! Apartment is really spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Playground is a dream. Kids had a blast with all the farm animals and activities. Hosts were incredibly nice. Location is perfect for visiting the area is you have a car (Hallstatt, Dachstein Krippenstein, Altaussee, Grundlsee).
It's one of the best places we have stayed in during our visit to Austria. Mr. Herbert was very kind and supportive with us.
The apartment was clean, comfort, well equipped and truely located in middle of the paradise.
I will definitely be back to the paradise.

Really typical Austrian house, that feels like home when you arrive. The house is close to the lake and we were welcomed like friends by very helpful hosts (and cute cats). The apartment had a great attention to detail, felt really comfortable and had everything in it that you might need. We will come back!

The food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner and it was one of the best home made meals we had in a long time in a hotel.
The breakfast was very good, the location was super if you like lakes surrounded by mountains :). But the price is quite high for this type of hotel, but it is also possible that it is a new price level in Austria. It is especially good if you like hiking or biking.
This apartment is a good choice for family trip in Grundlsee. The lake view is beautiful in the morning and there is a website made by host, which is clear and easy for guest to find activities and restaurants recommendation during the stay.
Very nice location close to the Grundlsee and various walk paths. Various different short hikes to Lake Toplitz. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. As for the house/appartment. All the amenities are available. The hosts were very nice.
I loved everything about our stay: the chalet’s rustic but tasteful decor, great view over the valley and the lake, the food was fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
