The owners of the Hof were very kind and helpful.

I managed to get a room @ 3rd floor with a nice view of the mountains. They provide good tasty food and at times when its sunny they open their garden restaurant. The 3 churches nearby and gosau village vibe are some of the memories I cherish for life. Its in between Hallstat and Gosau Lake and the price is descent.

The location was great, we had everything we need near us. The appartment was clean and cute.
The residence was exceptional. The host was gracious and came by to ensure we would take advantage of what the residence could offer in comfort. The outdoor sauna was fantastic after a full day of excursions.

Perfect remote, private location.
Perfect remote, private location. A lot of attractions, towns, cities worth visiting are reachable by car from that location (e.g. Hallstatt, Obertraun, Salzburg). It‘s small but has everything you need for a few days vacation, grocery store and a few restaurants.

Beautiful location with lots to do, especially if you enjoy outdoor/adventure holidays: walking, hiking, biking and climbing etc. The views from the valley are beautiful though so also makes for a beautiful spot to relax with a good book. We will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed the walking trail near our house. We also enjoyed trying to walk around the lake. It was pretty warm that day and I didn't get half way before my family said I probably needed to go back (age 81). Two of them made it all the way around but one daughter stayed with me. It was good advice to go back as I was pretty pooped by then. Two of them went up the gondola and two of us stayed behind. One of my daughters walked other various trails there and also went to the castle ruins. I loved looking at the beautiful mountains and everyone was mowing and making hay while we were there. Was interesting to see how different it was from the way we do it in America. Gosau and Hallstatt are two of my favorite places.

Gosau is a lovely place to stay.
Gosau is a lovely place to stay. The village is quite spread out, but this adds to the rural feel of village, which is very appealing. The residents are very friendly and helpful. The skiing is excellent. Gosau is well situated for short day trips to beautiful towns of Hallstatt and Bad Ishl. I could very easily live there full time. A charming place with incredible views from valley and whilst out skiing. Very good lift system out on mountains.

We loved Gosau.
We loved Gosau. Initially we wanted to stay in Hallstatt, but there were no available rooms for good price in any hotel there. So I checked the map for locations around and found Gosau. In the end it's so much better we've chosen Gosau as this place is so much more relaxed with not that many tourist. We'll definitely go back to this place if we are around. Highly recommended.
Nice place to be. The apartment was clean and there is enough space for bigger group (4-6 persons). Really nice balcony and views of the mountains and the village . Location was close to lakes, hiking trails and Hallstatt so it's easy to do day trips for diffenrent kinds of attractions. Gosau village is super sweet place. There are a few restaurants and markets so basically all what you would like to ask
- the best thing about the property is the location (in front of the Alps, one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen)
- the restaurant is also excellent (plenty of food options and excellent service)
- parking near the hotel
- pet friendly place - we were there with our dog and we felt very comfortable during the weekend (for example: he can go to the restaurant with us) :)
Fantastic property in the middle of the mountains ….such a beautiful view…absolutely breathtaking. Andrea and her husband were really hospitable and the room was super spacious and cozy. Bathroom was clean and good warm shower. Breakfast was also nice. A 15min drive to Hallstatt…it was such an amazing feeling to stay at this beautiful place. Highly recommended…..
Wonderful location, balcony with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Comfortable, large room size and bathroom with separate toilet. Alpine design, comfortable beds, lots of storage space. Breakfast is rich and varied. Parking directly in front of the hotel. Gosausee is about 12 minutes by car, Hallstatt about 25 minutes. I heartily recommend!
Peter’s apartment was neat and clean. We had ample space, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The views are stunning. Peter is also a great host. It was a pleasure to interact with him and his family. The location, Gosau is also nice and secluded. Perfect if you have a car. Would 100% recommend checking out tbe Gosau lake for a good evening stroll.

Appartment is in perfect condition, there was everything you could think of for a comfortable stay and even a little more. The view from the balcony is worth a million! Many trails start just behind the house and two beautiful Gosauseen and cable cars are less than 10 minutes drive from the property. Could not recommend more!

This place has the best view of Gosau with all the mountains surrounded nearby. Hiking to the lake is very convenient. The owner is such a nice and humorous lady, very intelligent. I enjoyed so much here. She is so kind to me and made me feel so welcomed. Definitely one of the best experience during my traveling!
The room was very nice, modern (probably the overall Gasthof was recently renovated) and clean. All the staff in the Gasthof was very friendly and supportive. The breakfast was included and was very rich. And the location is simply great, especially if you are in love with the Gosausee the same way as we are. :-)
This is a brand new property with truely amazing views over the Gosau valley from the main bedroom and spacious patio table (seating for 4+). Fully equiped kitchen and very nice dinning area. We stayed 2 nights but will stay longer next time. Thanks Karo for a great stay.
The apartment was in a great location. We were only 10-15 minutes to Gosau See and about 20 minutes to Halstatt. The building was very quiet, had a great view of the Austrian Alps, and was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
This place is incredible. Beautiful views from the balcony and bedroom window. Easy access to Gosau, Gosausee, and not far from Halstatt if you plan to visit there. Our host was very kind and helpful. 10/10 would stay here again.
