Hotel located just steps from ski bus and this is the perfect arrangement for Flachau area. At the same time walking distance from town center. Breakfast was very good and offered everything needed. Ski depository offers space and safety. Very nice spa. The personnel is friendly and kinda laidback.

I have travelled quite a few times in my life, but this is the first time actually that I am writing a review, as I hate to do them. But to be fair this hotel deserves it. It is a fair deal what they offer, what you see on the pictures it is there, the place efficiently renovated.
But the thing that stands out greatly is the staff. Both the owner and the kitchen staff were extremely kind, from pre-arrival till we left and went great distances to make us feel great.

The ski resort is excellent.
The ski resort is excellent. A large number of slopes of all levels. Possibility to ski through up to 5 valleys. The slopes are good groomed.
The cable cars had a sufficiently large capacity - queues only formed at the cable car connecting the valleys, but for a maximum of 5 minutes.

Flachau was nice quiet and cosy for now. I am sure that next month it will be more crowded since the saison starts in December. The apartment was excellent. The only thing that was missing was the hand soap in the bathrooms blinds from the windows in the bedrooms and an extra pair of towels or bed sheets.

Big and nice skiing area with many lifts and slopes for all. We often visited restaurant Unterbergalm and herzeralm which I can recommend. There are many places to eat and have fun on the slopes. It is well worth to visit Erlebnis Therme in Altenmarkt just few kilometers from Flachau.

Small, quiet village, the home of the legendary downhill skier Herman Meier, with a bank, small supermarket and bakery, approximately 1.25 hour’s car drive (traffic allowing) from Salzburg airport. A number of restaurants and central ski lift (‘Spacejet 1’) taking you up the mountain with good connecting lifts. Most runs are red so perhaps not the best for the nervous beginner. The village has a good ski bus connection and at least one of the ski rental shops right by the lift allows you to leave skis and boots overnight so you don’t have to carry them to and from your accommodation. I skied at the end of Feb 2023 and there was plenty of snow and sun on the slopes.

The facilities at the accommodation were extraordinary for adults but especially for kids (many things to do with your kids). The interior is very nicely designed and clean. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms (we were 2 families) and it was perfect. We also had a playground on our floor and was perfect for the kids (5 years old), while we were cooking or just relaxing in the room.
I would come back also during summer, there are many things to do in the hotel and in the town.
Very clean appartment.Well equiped kitchen. Nice decorated appartment, Austrian style, it looked just as in the pictures. We felt at Home immidiately. Good free parking and there is free parking by the lifts in Flauchau, if you want to go by car. You can get bread delivered in the Morning.
100 m to skishuttlebus( 5 minutes busride) and 15-20 minutes walk Home from Dampkessel afterski. 15 euro in taxi from Hofstadl. Busses do not run after 17-18.

I was staying solo to attend World Cup races. This location was the best-I could easily walk to the spectator venue. Room was great for solo traveler- comfortable bed, great shower, nice terrace, clean quarters. Managers Harry and Inga welcomed me warmly. Breakfast was full of choices.
Also close to ski rental and chairlift (Sport Stangl right at Star Jet 1-Thomas took care of fitting my skis).
The house is so cute and cozy. The hosts are very nice people - full of life and humble.
View from the balcony is amazing. Homemade breakfast and coffee makes you feel like at home.
Stayed unfortunately for only one night but it was the best stay in Austria this far.
I am sure we will return to Austria soon and stay there for longer!

Location is very good, it's around 10 mins walking distance to the nearrest ski lifts (Space Jet 1). The apartment we have stayed in was spacious, neat and clean. It had separate bedroom and was well equipped, including kitchenette. Parking space was available. Very nice and friendly owners. If we plan to come to Flachau again, we will book it again.

It felt like home, cozy and spotless apartment , well equipped kitchen. It was amazing to come back from the long day and to feel like arriving to your own home. No words can describe this perfect place. Karin is the best host ever. Fantastic Mountain View, we really enjoyed our morning coffee ritual at the balcony:)
We were a couple with 3 young children, we got a lovely apartment with 2 bedroom, 2 showers, 2 toilets. it looked new, very clean. also lovely balcony.

The staff was amazing. They even brought some ice cream for my children when playing at the hotel playground. The hotel is doing great to keep the children entertained. There is the playground, sandbox with toys, small kitchen where they can play on, several small bikes to borrow, trampoline, football field and the petting zoo.
Incredible value for money. Breakfast and dinner buffet were great considering the price. Owner very friendly and attentive to guests. Sauna area is a little small but we always found space. Bed is very large. There's always free cake and tea in the lobby. Hotel is less than a 5minute walk from the main ski lift.
The apartments are very clean and spacious. The location of Alpenjuwel Appartments is great - in the city center of Flachau but still quit and it is just a short walk to both ski lifts (achterjet & spacejet) and in the middle of both après ski bars. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Breakfast served directly in the Appartment - valuable, you can order how the eggs to be prepared, fully sufficient before going to ski. Excellent value for money - and clean and fully equiped appartment. On the edge of Flachau - so calm area, easy parking, but close to center of Flachau
excellently located for the ski slopes at Flachau and the ski hire and bakery were a stone’s throw away. comfortable apartment with plenty space for spreading out and with decent enough wi-if except when the weather closed in. A warm welcome from our host and I am sure we will return.
The hotel accommodation was excellent, in my opinion the room should have a small fridge for the summer months and a coffee machine. The selection of dishes at breakfast was great, and the staff at the hotel was very friendly.
We had a one night stop over between UK and Croatia on our roadtrip, we’ve been in Flachau before but not this hotel and only in winter! We will be back for the hotel and more of the summer weather
