This Hotel is several kilometres away from the town of Ferlach on the main road to the Loiblpass. No other facilities in this village but the hotel makes a good base with a good restaurant and comfortable facilities.
Brand new hotel, everything modern and clean, guests can use well equipped gym at the hockey training center opposite the hotel for free, wifi is fast, breakfast was good and for only 5€. Comfortable car-parking in front of the hotel. Guests can safely park their bike at special place under the roof.
Depends on what you are searching for. Overnight during the way from north to south and back through Loiblpass? Yes! Location in the middle of Karnten attractions? Yes! A place to spend holiday? Better not. A good restaurant in the hotel. The most important - friendly boss and staff.
The hotel is essentially the accommodation/dorms for an ice hockey training facility. With this as your expectation every thing fits. The breakfast was good - eggs, cheese, vegetables, yogurt, fruit coffee. The facility is a short walk to the village center.
