We had everything we needed in the apartment, plus an amazing view from the terrace ! Swimming pool was a nice addition to the facility. It was very kind of the host who had prepared a surprise for us.
If you’re travelling by car, the property is close to Hallstatt but the region is not crowded and you don’t struggle where to park. I would recommend to stay here if you want to avoid crowds and noise and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere .

Everything is excellent! The communication, the location, the parking, the apartment. The bed is very comfy, the kitchen is well-equipped, the bathroom is very convinient. And everything was very clean.

We were lucky enough to visit Podenhaus for 4 days this September and we can honestly say, it was our best ever visited accomodation. The welcome, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the view from our room and so on were 10/10. The uniqe vibe of the whole house was a cherry on top, it felt like a time-travel. Highly recommended but please leave free room for us for the next visit! 😉

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

Bad Aussee is great location. Surrounded by the mountains. We made lots of nice trips to the great tourist attractions ( lakes, sightseeing points) . We visited Wolfgangsee lake and atter see Lake which were absolutely amazing.
Only the downside of it was the parking in the city.

Bad Aussee is a very good area for cross country skiing in the winter, and also for mountain biking in the summer. The Narzissentherme resort is also very nice. Bad Aussee is also near the Loser Ski area (15 minutes by car).

It is a small town so it is very important to take note of...
It is a small town so it is very important to take note of the schedule for the trains. Much easier to go by car. Taxi is economical if you are in a group of 4 or more.
It is a beautiful town with quaint shops selling quality items
However shops and restaurants close early so you may not be able to find food after 7-730pm.
Very clean and really more space that it looks in the web! The sitting room was very organised and with wide space! I like the decoration and the small details and touches everywhere in the apartment! The location was outstanding just near the river ! If I know, I will book for more than few nights as you can spend a week or more just relaxing in this very beautiful place! It is highly recommended especially for a family! I will make sure to visit again ! Also there was is a laundry machine, something you don’t see a lot in other places!
