Fabulous, eccentric place to stay. Welcomed by the owner who also served us breakfast in the morning. Good storage for bicycles. The Schloss building surrounds an internal garden with some special trees. A short walk into the town where we had a nice meal at Gasthof Sonne. A very interesting place to stay.

Beautiful location, large room with a great view of the Danube, and an excellent dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, with friendly and efficient service. This was one of the best places I stayed at during my two-week hiking trip - I hope to come back again one day.

Lovely views and a pleasant breakfast. Cycling the Danube, the Hotel is located up a short steep climb.
Note to cyclists: Secure bicycle storage and if approaching from the other side of the river, the bridge does have a dedicated cycle path(Upstream side).

Easy check in, late in the day. We were lucky to find somewhere to stay.
We were cycling the Danube and had to take a lengthy detour because of a rock fall.Our first choice of hotel was ‘closed’ despite people coming and going from it and even though I phoned the proprietor. Some people leaving the hotel could see our predicament and suggested Pension La Mamma who couldn’t have been more helpful
Absolutely amazing magical place to stay. Old country residence, very clean and comfortable rooms. Very helpful friendly woman running the hotel. Close to town - you need to find the shortcut across the railway track! Good breakfast. Secure bicycle storage. If you stay in Aschach you must stay here. Brilliant.
Nice hotel in the middle of town, near the river. Friendly host, who speaks English. I had a single room, which is small but adequate. Standard breakfast in the morning, all good.
