We stayed twice overnight. The person at reception each time spoke English, was friendly and gave good advice. (On recommendation, we ate at Gasthaus Anica and would recommend it for Austrian food). It is definitely a budget hotel. The facilities are basic but it has all you need and was spotless and clearly well maintained. Although not cheap, it was still less expensive than anything else we could find. The location is excellent for train, Flixbus and for the interesting parts of Innsbruck.
The Alphotel is just 500 metres from the Innsbruck-Ost exit of the A12 motorway. It is fully air-conditioned and offers a sauna, free parking, and free internet access.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, especially if you want to explore the city with public transport. The bus-stand is right beside the hotel. There are a few places to grab a bite in the neighbourhood.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Also, the balcony offers a great view. The parking has ample amount of spaces and the breakfast was adequate and satisfactory. The staff is friendly. Overall, a good choice.

Good location and with the guest card the receptionist gave me, free on the bus to Hall and Innsbruck, so I didn't have to drive everywhere. This is a beautiful area. It is a lovely hotel, huge room, balcony, welcoming receptionist - friendly and helpful. Really good breakfast. Amazing views.
