While the city itself might lack in essential tourist items to check off the list, Posadas was one of the friendliest, most welcoming, and all around comfortable small cities I've visited and as a base for seeing the nearby Jesuit ruins (as opposed to visiting them on a day tour from Puerto Iguazu, and with a day trip to the nearby Trinidad ruins in Paraguay—the most complete of the Jesuit Missions—if possible) anyone who has a few more days should opt for making their base here for a little while, strolling the downtown and costanera, enjoying the laid back vibes, and interacting with the lovely people.

The riverside boardwalk is lovely.
The riverside boardwalk is lovely. A great path to walk, ride bikes, or exercise. There were many spots without much shade from the sun, but you could go at certain times of day. There a great restaurant and cafe options in Posadas.
I cannot compliment our host enough on how clean the apartment was. Finally, after 10 days of travel, we stayed in an apartment where it was clean! Not only were the floors clean, but also the bathroom, toilet and the surfaces in the house! Such a joy!
Otherwise, the apartment is well located, it is safe and has the basics for a great stay in Posadas. The communication with our host was smooth and helpful, thank you very much!
Congratulations to the reception, in Portuguese perfect, and kind service. Comfortable bed and air conditioning that works to the satisfaction. About leaking water from the bathroom box (as reported by others), it didn't happen to me. Although small, everything worked well. Very good breakfast, with local and tasty products. I recommend you visit the 24-hour bakery which is just one quarter from the hotel.
The hotel is good value for money; it provides a good location (near the center/Costanera), fair comfort, and space. The room overall was very clean and quiet. The AC worked just fine for the warm days. The staff helped finding attractions/restaurants and offered the available closed parking (since no other guests were using it).
The location is perfect, close to the center, to shops, to supermarket, to bookstore, to city tour bus, and good restaurants. Ludmila was very nice, gave many suggestions, and was ready to help with anything to make my stay worthy. WiFi connection and air conditioning were excellent.
The apartment was very clean, lovely decorated and in a perfect location: close to public transportation and to the town center. Marcelo, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here if I come back to Posadas! Thank you Marcelo ;)

The property had everything you need! Friendly staff, pool was so big and perfect for those looking to do full lengths. Bbq facility is the best I’ve used in Argentina! Kitchenette inside and outside. Big tables fit for families and children.
Really enjoyed the pool after a long day walking around the City. The bed was very comfortable and the airconditioning worked well. Good choice of food at breakfast. Nice to be able to make tea in the evening.

An excellent business-type hotel. In center of Posadas, away from restaurant "strip" on the boardwalk on the river. Staff spoke very good English, and were responsive and highly dependable.
