We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful family-run accommodation and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the family, who went out of their way to help us reach their property. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled among beautiful mountains and offering a true taste of village life. The fresh homemade food was a delightful highlight, giving us an authentic taste of local cuisine. The surroundings are perfect for nature lovers. We enjoyed peaceful walks and were thrilled to go on a hike with the family dog, who joyfully joined us on our adventure. Additionally, the opportunity to ride their horse was an unexpected and wonderful treat. The presence of animals added a charming touch to our stay, making it feel even more homely and inviting. Overall, this accommodation offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, warm hospitality, and unique experiences. Amazing views, the place is serene - only sounds of birds and cow bells. No road noise, no music. The villas are very comfortable and modern. Service is good but on't come with the expectation of the 5star hotel service - it is very hard to find labour for such remote location. Leo and his wife are hard workers - from dawn to dusk. Apparently, there are only 7 families left in this village (typical story in Albanian rural areas) and these guys deserve your respect and consideration. Appreciate the place for its surroundings, for the authenticity of the people. Be nice and leave them good tip and your sincere thanks. We loved our stay here

We have booked the superior villa (including 2 bedrooms) and got confirmation from booking.com . we have tried many different ways to contact them, but they were not reachable. When we arrived there, they just told us the villa was occupied by other guests. What they can offer us was very small room 60€ for 4 of us.

The location of this little village is spectacular. The narrow road, leading off the main tarmac road and to the small village, is somewhat precarious for a weak-hearted driver but the scenery along the canyon is breath-taking. The hotel is basically a family home and the guest bedrooms are on the second floor, with the rest of the facilities being shared with the hosts. The hosts, husband and wife, are very friendly and welcoming and will offer you whatever they have available to make you feel at home: their home-made food, such as cheese and polenta bread, locally caught fish. We saw their goats and two little kids, newly born. We managed to communicate with a bit of English and Serbo-Croat which the hosts can speak. During our three-night stay there, we went for long walks/hikes around the area, one of them led by the Lucia, the host, who offered kindly to take us up the rocky cliff nearby from where we can see the mountainous landscape in all of its grandeur. The village of Niks is another pleasant 3-4 hour hike towards the mountains where the dirt road loops around and comes back. We highly recommend a visit to the place. We were there in February when the land is still quite bare but when spring is in full swing, the hosts tell us the place looks much greener and full of colour. The pictures for the property do not do full justice to the beauty of the location.
