They actually upgraded us for free to the resort hotel next door as they own both.
So the resort hotel has a beautiful lobby and outside surroundings. A very good buffet dinner and breakfast.

Everything at this resort was stunning, however the people made this hotel to stand out even more. The location is great, for the whole duration of our stay we had the impression that we are in a tropical vacation. I highly recommend any of the villas. Al Yamm is perfect for sunshine and beach lovers and Al Sahel perfect for those who want to enjoy the wildlife in their own backyard surrounded by trees. The pricing of F&B is surprisingly good as well. Would 100% recommend any of the 3 resorts from the island.

Courtesy and service mindfulness of the staff (who has by far more liberty to accommodate and interact with guest than any other place we have been!), the garden and (private) beach, and the quality of the room, chalets and villa's are excellent. If you like rest, beach (or swimming pool) and good food, this is the place to be!

Location is perfect to get away from the busy city life. There are two places that you can stay at, Danat Jabel Al Dhanah and Dhafra Beach hotel. There is nothing more going on in the area other to stay at one of the hotels and relax at the beach.

The hotel is located at a very serene place next to the beach with a wonderful and relaxing view. Had a good breakfast and other facilities were good as well (pool, bar, beach etc.) Activities for fun loving kids (kayaking) at the beachside. Altogether, it was a great stay.

Beautiful small hotel for a relaxing family holiday by the sea with nice well maintained beach, pool and garden, friendly staff, early check in and late check out.
What didn't I like? A very shallow empty sea, although for some it will be good; a small variety of food in the restaurant, it cannot be said that it is bad, but the hotel positions itself at 5 stars, so expectations were high.
The service at the resort is exceptional. The staff make it a point to ask if there is anything that can be done to make the stay better, while giving us our space. Some of the people who deserve special mention are Retheesh, the chefs Eldose and Asfana, and the concierges. The chefs catered to our kids' dietary requirements as soon as they heard of their allergies. The staff are extremely helpful and made the visit memorable.
It's no wonder we keep going back to Jebel Dhanna.

Very convenient hotel for an overnight stopover on the way to Dubai from Saudi by car. Big, clean rooms, extremely comfortable beds, excellent location on the beach, decent room service and good value for money. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Well maintained hotel, clean and very specious rooms. We got upgraded without any hustle. Staff are keen to help all the time. The breakfast was amazing with many options available. The beach area looks good for a morning walk.
