They actually upgraded us for free to the resort hotel next door as they own both.
So the resort hotel has a beautiful lobby and outside surroundings. A very good buffet dinner and breakfast.

Courtesy and service mindfulness of the staff (who has by far more liberty to accommodate and interact with guest than any other place we have been!), the garden and (private) beach, and the quality of the room, chalets and villa's are excellent. If you like rest, beach (or swimming pool) and good food, this is the place to be!

Location is perfect to get away from the busy city life. There are two places that you can stay at, Danat Jabel Al Dhanah and Dhafra Beach hotel. There is nothing more going on in the area other to stay at one of the hotels and relax at the beach.

The hotel is located at a very serene place next to the beach with a wonderful and relaxing view. Had a good breakfast and other facilities were good as well (pool, bar, beach etc.) Activities for fun loving kids (kayaking) at the beachside. Altogether, it was a great stay.

Beautiful small hotel for a relaxing family holiday by the sea with nice well maintained beach, pool and garden, friendly staff, early check in and late check out.
What didn't I like? A very shallow empty sea, although for some it will be good; a small variety of food in the restaurant, it cannot be said that it is bad, but the hotel positions itself at 5 stars, so expectations were high.
There was a confusion about the number of beds information provided on booking.com versus the information provided by the hotel staff. I called in advance to inquire and get it sorted. The facility and rooms are very good. Beach facing chalets are always the choice to stay at this property. Beach was not as clean as it was in earlier days, that was a disappointment. Pool, staff and amenities were very good. Breakfast, lunch and Dinners were good and accommodating staff and the chefs team. However, I found majority dishes to be Asian oriented.
The location, the amazing staff mainly from the front desk Rajan, Acecia and their colleagues that got i to interact with were so welcoming, humble and caring 🙏🙏🙏
The room was up to the standards and very clean 🙏
The recreation area and the beach where so eye catching that i am looking forward to comeback there again…

The concierge was very helpful and gave us an idea about the hotel and associated facilities. Driving from Riyadh to Abu Dhabi, this location is ideal as it gives travellers a nice break. We took a package where dinner and breakfast was included so that we could have a proper rest in order to continue with our journey the next day.
The location is really good and away from everywhere yet right on the water. The all-inclusive package is well worth it. We were able to have our second lunch on the day we actually left because we went to Sir Baniyas Island. The female chef was incredible and very accommodating to our requests.
The rooms were spacious and the new pool was fantastic. We could use the gym and squash court at the big hotel. Deepika in the restaurant was especially kind and helpful.
